I bought one of these bracelets two weeks ago with the idea that I would test its effectiveness in combating pain in my knees. I read much of the information on the Web concerning the use of magnets in treating pain. Truthfully, there seemed to be more negative results than positive dating back to the 1800s. I removed two links from the bracelet with the link removal tool that was included. Be sure to read the instructions regarding which way to remove the pins. Reinserting the pins is more difficult. I found that if I used a straight pin or something similar to align the holes and then let the pin push out the straight pin as it was inserted it was much easier. Again, be sure to read the instructions and look carefully at the pin. It appears to be a completely cylindrical pin, but one end it split. I adjusted the length so the bracelet was loose enough to allow air under it, but tight enough that the majority of the magnets are in direct contact with the skin.There is one review here that states that magnetism could not be detected. I would suggest that the bracelet is simply defective and should be returned. Magnets can lose much of their magnetism if they are struck severely - perhaps before being inserted. My bracelet has enough magnetism to hold it securely to the vertical surface of a refrigerator.After wearing the bracelet continuously for several days on my right wrist, I thought that I could detect some reduction in knee pain in my right knee. I then wore it continuously on the left wrist for another few days. Again, the pain seemed to be less in the left knee.At this point, I also purchased a magnetic anklet (to be reviewed separately). Similar tests were conducted. For whatever reason, there was a significant decrease in knee pain on the side wearing the magnetics. I ordered a bracelet and anklet for the other side.Regardless of the effect on pain, the bracelet is well-made and quite attractive. Packaging and presentation is suitable to be given as a gift, in my opinion. Included in the inner box is the bracelet - protected by some sort of plastic material, the link removal tool, and a small black velvet bag to store the bracelet (if you ever take it off). I take mine off for bathing and if I am going to be doing something extremely dirty. I have other bracelets of this pin-and-link construction and the pins do have a tendency to wear out. Be sure to remove and replace the pins in a brightly lighted area. They are hard to find if you drop one.The clasp is cleverly integrated into the design of the bracelet and seems to be of good construction. Only time will tell how well it will hold up to use. So far I am quite happy with both the appearance and functionality of the bracelet(s).

At first, I was so skeptical about the therapeutic magnetic jewelry even though my brother is wearing it for years. I still did not believe that it works, but because of my different types of injuries, health is a big issue on me. I am old now the more pains I suffered. Last month, I decided to buy this magnetic anklet because of my severe legs soreness, pain on my shin and calf. I play tennis and I can't avoid jumping and when I jump I feel like my shin is about to break. When I start wearing this, I've noticed that I forgot the pain on my shin&calf. I observe it for (2) weeks and I did not feel it although I still have other discomfort in some other part of my body as I've mentioned earlier I have multiple injuries, I've been in the rehab with my physical therapist for more than (2) years so I don't think all my health issue will be solved with one (1) anklet. This anklet is really helping my pains and I actually bought a bracelet so my carpal tunnel also will go away (I hope) finger's cross. The anklet is beautiful and elegant looking I got compliment from my co worker she was amazed when I told her that it is a therapeutic anklet and it works well on me. I hope my bracelet is also elegant looking. I am not a jewelry wearer, but if it helps lessen my pain, I'll go for it.I am supposed to give this a (4) star because of the clasp is really hard to remove, but when I contact the seller I changed my mind because Mehran (the owner) was very helpful, she/he offered me to send a spare just in case I will break the one on my anklet and she/he said it is intentionally made it tight so it will not get lost. Mehran has an excellent customer service. Overall, I love my purchase and I wear it every day even when sleeping.

Preface: 4 out of 5 stars ONLY because I have had the bracelet for a few days and want to give it time to see how it works and how the bracelet holds up. However, I have been using magnets for many years for back and ankles so I feel strongly that this bracelet will help with my carpal tunnel. So strongly that I have already order a second bracelet for my other wrist because the bracelet is very nicely made and looks like a regular piece of jewelry instead of a sports wrap or other type of cheap materials. I needed to remove a couple of links -- which was very easy to do with the provided tool. I ordered the women's silver and gold to be able to wear all the time regardless of what other jewelry I am wearing. The second one ordered (waiting to receive it) is the men's all silver. Wish they had silver and gold available in the men's version as well-- they have silver and rose gold. The bracelet was delivered on time. It comes nicely wrapped in a box along with the pin removal tool and instructions. It is a little difficult to remove the plastic wrapping from around the bracelet but I would rather that than have any scratches on it.

I wear my anklet every day, all day & for all activities. I have found the delicate ones are pretty they NEVER hold up to every day wear. This one is fabulous! The colour is lovely and its smooth link design lies very nicely against the skin. I am very pleased with this anklet!
