I can't say enough good things about this series of books (and the other levels and workbooks and comprehension workbooks...). My kid really hated to read in the beginning, but after using these books (we began with level 2 I believe) he is just FLYING through them! Recently he was laughing so hard at one of the story lines and it was such a joy to see him learning to love reading books on his own. These are priceless. Highly recommend!
