What an incredible collection!
There are some movies I can watch over and and over again and surprisingly a lot of them where done by John Hughes. This collection includes some of the greats, like Some Kind of Wonderful, Pretty in Pink and Ferris Bueller's day off! Then throw in the hilarious Planes Trains and Automobiles and She's Having a Baby and you have hours of rewatchable classics! If you love these movies like I do, you will be very happy with this purchase!

5 great movies.
Really great value for 5 movies on blu ray and you get digital copies as well. Planes trains and automobiles was mainly why I got this but the other movies are great. Definitely recommend.

Solid Collection of 1980s John Hughes Movies
This collection of John Hughes movies from the 1980s features well-written characters and solid performances from virtually everyone cast in the movies. While there is the occasional farce in some of the comedies, they are overall quite relatable by almost everyone, which provides both insight and charm. I saw only two of the movies in my younger days, so three of them were fresh for me. All of them held up well, even given all of the changes in society over the last four decades or so.Each of the Blu-rays has extra bonus material, although some of that material repeats on the various discs. Still, there is a lot of good background material on each of the Blu-rays. The real bonus is the extremely low price for five full-length movies, in my case, only $13.49.

John Hughes 5-Movie Collection (Blu-ray + Digital)
Excellent Movies, Disappointing Expired Digital Codes. The John Hughes 5-Movie Collection (Blu-ray + Digital) is packed with classic films that have aged incredibly well. Each movie delivers the perfect mix of humor, memorable characters, and heartfelt moments, making this a great collection for longtime fans or anyone discovering these classics for the first time. The Blu-ray discs look and sound great, and it’s nice having so many iconic films together in one set.The biggest disappointment was the included digital downloads. One of the reasons I purchased this edition was to have the convenience of watching the movies digitally, but the redemption codes had already expired. While I understand digital offers can’t last forever, it’s frustrating to buy a product advertised as including digital copies only to find that they can no longer be redeemed. It definitely takes away from the value of what is otherwise an excellent collection.Fortunately, the Blu-ray discs themselves work perfectly and provide a great viewing experience. The movies are still as entertaining and enjoyable as ever, and the picture quality is a noticeable upgrade over older formats.Overall, this is still a great collection that’s worth owning if you’re a fan of John Hughes’ films. I just wish the digital copies were still redeemable or that replacement codes were offered for new purchasers. Because of the expired digital downloads, I’m giving this collection four stars instead of five.

BD version. Great value for the money.
Had four of the five movies and bought this for the last one rather than buy it individually... which was close enough in price. My siblings like the other ones, so they'll get the duplicates and I'll get a set that takes up less shelf space. The discs in the set were the same as the ones in the individual movies I'd previously bought. They look better than the DVD versions. Unless there's are better prints floating around in some studio vault, the visual quality won't improve much if they're ever released in 4K. That's really the problem with older films and the newer resolutions. I have a few movies that looked better on VHS than DVD. Probably because they were low-budget, direct to video and shot on tape instead of film.

Great collection
What’s not to like? 5 films for less than £20 (it was on offer). The films aren’t blockbusters, they’re just the films I loved as a teenager. Good drama, good laughs and killer soundtracks. It’s a 10 from me, albeit through rose tinted glasses. Recommended.
