Great sounding little speakers"

Not the best 41/2 speakers for a car, but they'll do.

These speakers were a perfect replacement for the factory indoor speakers in our Grand Design travel trailer. The sound quality is excellent and has great range. I am shocked at the quality of these for the price! Highly recommended for any budget stereo project.

I didn't have high expectations for these speakers, considering the price was so cheap, yet I was still disappointed in the sound quality. I bought these to replace the broken stock speakers in my old Jeep Cherokee. These actually sounded WORSE than the stock speakers, which I thought was surprising (and disappointing), considering most old stock speakers don't sound very good either. These Dual DLS524 speakers have almost no low/mid frequency response. The high frequencies are decent and sound crisp, but without the mids and lows, the overall sound is awful. My old stock speakers had better low/mid response. And the Dual DLS524 speakers distort at mid-volume, which further added to the disappointment. After a week, I removed the Dual DLS524 speakers and replaced them with the Pyramid 526DC speakers (also purchased on Amazon), which sound so much better - even better than my old stock speakers - and for the same price as the Dual DLS524 speakers. If you need 5.25" speakers and only want to spend $20, buy the Pyramid 526DC's!!
