This Battery Charger is better than others that I bought before. The only downside is it has 2 flat pins type and not 3 pins type which is what we use in Singapore. Other than that, it is a good product.

An outstanding AAA battery re-charger made by EBL that also charges 9-volt rechargeable batteries. Holds up to four batteries or up to two 9-volt batteries at a time. Indicates charging cycle by red to green lights. Fast, easy wall plug in, small pocket size, very reliable and very highly recommended.

I’m giving this product the best possible review, as detailed a bit further on! This was the issue that brought me to discover this battery charger: I have 4 indoor cats, and I need to keep them away from certain parts of our house. To enable this, I bought several cans of “SSSCAT Spray,” which is a motion-detecting spray that emits a harmless puff of air when the cats go near it. They dislike the hissing-spray sound, so the SSSCAT Spray works great; the only problem was that each can uses 4 AAA batteries & I was spending a small fortune constantly needing to buy new batteries. *** SO: I did a ton of online research on rechargeable batteries and battery chargers, before deciding to purchase this particular charger. (For the record, I also bought the green-colored Amazon brand rechargeable batteries, and so far they’re working great, holding a lengthy charge; so far they’re lasting longer on one charge than regular disposable batteries.) *** This battery charger is such an amazing product! It was surprisingly inexpensive, yet it works beautifully. Here’s what I love about it: • did I mention that it was surprisingly inexpensive? LOL :P • it plugs firmly and securely into a wall outlet for use; • it’s able to recharge several different battery sizes; • it was very easy to insert the batteries (they pop in at a slight angle, which also makes them easy to remove after charging); • the direction in which to insert the batteries (+ and -) is clearly marked right on the charger; • it’s easy to store when not in use, both because 1) it’s a convenient size — small and compact, but not so tiny that larger hands will have trouble using it — and 2) because the outlet plug-in conveniently tucks into the back of the charger (I lay my charger down flat in a desk drawer in between uses); • its quality is excellent, as it’s extremely sturdy and durable; • it recharges batteries very quickly; • there are two small lights on the front that clearly glow red when the batteries are being charged, and green when charging is complete; • it stays cool while plugged in & charging; • it’s just all-around simple & easy to use! I didn’t even need to read the instruction sheet before using it for the first time; • this battery recharger has been saving me TONS of $ on batteries, in addition to helping the environment since I’m no longer constantly throwing away SO. MANY. old, worn-out batteries. Because the charger is small, it can only recharge 4 batteries at once; but they charge so quickly that it’s not a problem for me, even when I need to recharge MANY more than 4 batteries in the same time period. Just something to keep in mind if you’d rather charge more than 4 batteries at once. 5 Star Rating for sure!

Charger works great on three different batteries. Saving on batteries will pay for charger quickly.

The disappointing part for me about this purchase, is that I was buying it to charge a 3 x AAA flashlight batteries and then discovered upon reading the manual that it only charges in pairs for AA and AAA batteries. The 9V batteries can charge singly. Essentially this meant the purpose I bought it for was something it couldn't use it for. Rechargeable batteries need to be matched in brand, type, age and stage of charge when using them. This 'paired' requirement means this device cannot change all three batteries in my set. I need to use a unit that will charge them all simultaneously. On the bright side, it can charge 9V batteries, but please be aware it requires pairs of AA/AAA batteries only. You can't charge a single battery or sets of three batteries. I guess you can do 2 x pairs of 2 with the four slots available, but I hope you get my point. It is a problem.
