Disappointed! Burns the face!
I used it for the first time to remove my mascara and my eyes burned terribly. A lot of online reviews on different websites say the same thing which I wish I had seen earlier! My skin isn't sensitive or anything which is why I am shocked that CeraVe would have such side effects when it claims to be gentle in the face! Very disappointed!

Love these wipes
I've been using these wipes for a couple of years now. I have extremely sensitive skin, and these work great for me. Like some others have said, there is some burning, especially in sensitive areas, but worth it for me. Make up comes off, no residue left after use, and I don't break out. These are the first wipes I've been able to use without some kind of reaction.

Yah!! CeraVe Yah!!
Love ❤️ Love ❤️ these makeup removing wipes.... I had to switch my skincare to CeraVe due to being put on Tretinoin for my face. Now all those products I bought burned like a 🔥 Amazon was so kind in letting me return the products. I liked too! But I don’t like my face to burn, ya know that’s a bummer! CeraVe Makeup Wipes Do an AWESOME job in removing the makeup from my face and neck (yes, bring that foundation down Boo!) They are so gentle yet very effective. I’ll be using these I think for the rest of my life, all joking 🙃 aside! What I do now is I use 1. Neutrogena Ultra Light Cleansing Oil. 2. CeraVe Makeup Wipe••I only need one wipe as the oil (which I’ve never used before till now) breaks up the makeup. 3. CeraVe Cleansing Bar Soap with my Mia 4. Then I’ll use the CeraVe Facial Moisturizer Lotion (Day Time) and at night I’ll use the CeraVe Skin Renewing Night Cream. 5. I’ll go in with Oznaturals Ocean Mineral Tonic Spray for toner. 6. At night time I’ll use 3 more products (It sounds like a lot but it’s not, it all makes sense actually!) the CeraVe Eye Repair Cream then a few drops of Oznaturals Super Youth Eye Gel, then the last 2 Oznaturals Vitamin E Rose 🌹 Vitamin C 20 Astaxanthin Hyaluronic Acid and then every other night there Vitamin C E Rose 🌹 Hips Green Tea Hyaluronic Acid. Then the very last product (which is finally starting to work) is Nivea Skin Firming & Smoothing Concentrated Serum Under My Eyes For The Bags & a bit on my Eyelids and I put a little on my neck. Lastly, I use a mascara wand with Palma Christos The Organic Castor Oil on my lashes & brows. I am ready to start Derma-Rolling as I researched and found that it really should be part of my anti aging routine. I have one for my face neck back of hands and a 0.25 for my eyes. Seeing the results from Derma-Rolling is what made me get off the fence. I found the CeraVe line to work beautifully with the Tretinoin that I use every other night. Now my products will work better. Who knew? So having said all that (Maybe it will help someone) I’m on my way to an excellent skin care regimen. I can’t say enough good stuff about these makeup remover wipes! Some is just trial and error and I know these wipes have good ingredients!! So Yah!! CeraVe Yah!!

These wipes are wonderful!
I LOVE these facial wipes. I have been plagued with an autoimmune rash for more than a year. CereVè wash and wipes have been the ONLY product that I can use that does not exacerbate my rash.Yes - it stings momentarily on the extra sensitive areas, but it quits. I can remove my waterproof eyeliner and mascara with no scrubbing. It deep cleans my face, too. It has helped repair my skin. These wipes are wonderful!

Convenient and non-irritating
Context: I have very, VERY sensitive skin with eczema, and have difficulty finding facial products I can tolerate. YMMV, if you have rosacea or eczema, since everyone has different triggers. I find that these scent-free wipes do remove cosmetics effectively, and don't cause any reaction in my skin. I might have the most fleeting stinging sensation on the thin skin around my eyes or the corners of my lips, if I have stubborn waterproof makeup that needs repeated wiping to remove, but it seems to be more related to the secondary processes of wiping and the resultant drying of my skin, more than direct chemical irritation from the makeup remover. And yes, the wipes are a little drying on me--not as bad as some removers I've tried, like the Covergirl Clean--so if your skin is prone to dryness, be sure to moisturize, once you're done with your face-cleansing routine. My only complaint--the reason for four stars--is a minor one, regarding packaging. I don't wear makeup often, so it might be a month between uses of these wipes, and I find that the top wipe is typically a bit dry by the time I next open the package, and needs to be discarded. The interior wipes in the pack are still usable, but the wastage is something to be aware of, if you're like me, and only use the wipes sporadically. That said, I figure I'll still get most of a year's use out of the pack, which is reasonable. If you use makeup--and makeup remover--more frequently, you'll probably not have an issue.

Best towelettes for removing sunscreen
These are the best towelettes I've ever found for removing sunscreen on my body and face. I'm pretty OCD about what goes on my skin, but I still have to wear sunscreen constantly for hiking and otherwise. I carry these in the car and they work wonders after a hike. I rub a few all over my arms and/or everywhere with sunscreen to remove the used layer (and sweat and other grim). They leave your skin completely fresh, clean and soft. If I'm heading back out, I can put another layer of sunscreen on, or just be clean getting back into the car. I've bought lots of other towelettes from REI for dry washing and none do the same work as this. Highly recommended for removing sunscreen and hiking.
