So far I have only used this one time for spot washing on a really yucky spot on my pup. He has had skin issues in the past and had to be on apoquel to clear it up. He now takes the apoquel only as needed. We had started using a chlorhexidine shampoo from the vet as well. We ran out of that and I decided to order this instead of getting the more expensive smaller bottle the vet sold us. Anyways he sometimes gets these really yucky, moist and red areas, typically on his underside or under his "armpit" areas. The other night he had one of these areas under his armpit so I washed it with warm water and this shampoo and then rinsed and reapplied the shampoo and let sit for about 5 mins and then rinsed and dried the area. The next day the area was no longer moist and was dry and healing. He was no longer licking at the area either. 2 days later and the area still looks great. I am planning on doing a full bath in a few days and will see how it goes. Will try to remember to update my review once we have used it more.

My poor dog started having skin problems; scaly patches and fur coming off almost looking like dandruff. Vet said it was a bacterial infection and prescribed antibiotics. Scaly patches started to heal but then she had huge sores popping up all over her body. Vet said it was a mite infection and gave a shot. It seemed like the normal dog shampoos just made her more itchy and miserable, we even tried baby shampoo. Along with the fur and skin falling off, this poor dog started smelling horrible. I really can't describe the smell except to say that I know what a normal dog should smell like. Anyways, after using this shampoo even once, my dog started looking and smelling better.Although the recommendation was to use the shampoo three days in a row, I only do a maximum of once a week. This is mainly because my dog is basically so short haired that she could be bald. I know that keeping my dogs natural skin oils in balance will also help her skin to heal faster.

Love! I bought this for my English Bulldog. He WAS a very stinky dog before this shampoo. Especially near his ears, paws and tail pocket, just a very yeasty smell around his whole body that no other shampoo has been able to help. I gave him a bath with this yesterday and he still smells great today. Usually he begins to smell only hours after drying off from a bath. Left his coat nice and soft. Shampoo is thick and lathers nicley. I paired this with the ear cleaner by the same brand with the same active ingredient.

I purchased this product back in Dec. Of 2017,my service dog was suffering from allergies that he was biting all over, I asked my Vet what should I use as always he was pushing the brands he carries that has the Chlorhexidine at $60, I went online to start my research and came across this shampoo it has all the same ingredients but with a lower price tag of $19.99, I received the shampoo and used it on my pet I noticed that there was no strong oder, my hands didn't get red or chapped, after using the shampoo I noticed that my pet looked and felt better just after 1 use and I still had money left in my billfold, the scratching and itching was almost gone.
