Question of the day...is this toothpaste the authentic Marvis toothpaste?

If you purchased this from “Ships and Sold by Amazon” or one of our listed approved sellers, it is certainly authentic Marvis toothpaste.

Is Marvis cruelty-free? I found one blog that indicated yes but would like to confirm.

From 03/23/2013 in all Europe you can NOT commercialize products of beauty ( any ) tested on animals and the ingredients can NOT be tested also outside EU. Marvis ( Ludovico Martelli, Florence ) is not in the banned company list. From 07/ 31/ 2013, experiments on animals are banned in Italy and follow EU directive.

i see this has saccharine in it. isnt saccharine cancer causing?

Because the bladder tumors seen in rats are due to a mechanism not relevant to humans and because there is no clear evidence that saccharin causes cancer in humans, saccharin was delisted in 2000 from the U.S. National Toxicology Program's Report on Carcinogens, where it had been listed since 1981 as a substance ...

I did some research and there doesn't seem to be any certain answers on this. I would maybe play it on the safe side and go with a toothpaste that is certified kosher. Hope this helps!
