Simply Amazing
I wish I had read it earlier in my life. I lost 21kg from April 2024 to August 2024. Insulin level dropped to 5. H1ac to 5,5 and blood sugar to 98. They are still improving. I feel amazing.The world needs scientists and doctors like Dr. Fung. I read all his books. I can not recommend it more.

This book is an eye-opening truth about weight loss and gain
I'm shocked by how brainwashed we have been, Dr Jason proves that obesity is NOT a caloric imbalance. It's a hormonal imbalance and it's a multifactorial disease. I recommend it!

Ottima analisi dei meccanismi che portano all'accumulo del grasso corporeo e di conseguenza quali possono essere le strategie da adottare per evitare che un fatto assolutamente naturale diventi una patologia cronica seria.Sono un appassionato di questi argomenti, ma le spiegazioni mi sembrano chiare anche senza avere una formazione scientifica come la mia. Tutto è ben documentato (la lista delle citazioni occupa una bella porzione del libro), ed è apprezzabile che l'autore non dichiari una preferenza per un certo regime alimentare rispetto ad una altro... anche se a mio parere una certa inclinazione sia intuibile leggendo dietro le righe.
