Easy and reliable to switch between 3 devices

My review is revised UGreen team reached out and helped me get the 4k output, it turns out it requires an external power adapter with 1A output (which is not part of the package), after I used it, 4k works fine I am keeping my previous review below for reference so if someone faces similar problem they can resolve it themselves -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OLD REVIEW BELOW - worth reading if you're having issue with 4k output ___________________________________________________________________ My initial setup was PC → HDMI Cable A → 4k 55" TV The HDMI Cable A is concealed in a pipe inside the wall (real wall not a dry wall), the pipe is wide just enough to allow a single HDMI cable head to pass through as long as it is empty 4k was working fine, Zero issues Now I wanted to connect Sony PS 4 to the same TV I got the UGreen HDMI Switch Connected as follows PC → HDMI Cable B → UGReen Switch Port 1 → HDMI Cable A → 4k 55" TV PS4 → HDMI Cable C → UGReen Switch Port 5 → HDMI Cable A → 4k 55" TV I get display but PC shows only in FHD (1080) I read the UGreen literature and they specifically mentioned higher AWG HDMI cable, so I went and bought that cable (HDMI Cable D), even more I got the 50cm to make sure attenuation & signal loss is minimal, so I connected PC → HDMI Cable D → UGReen Switch Port 1 → HDMI Cable A → 4k 55" TV PS4 → HDMI Cable C → UGReen Switch Port 5 → HDMI Cable A → 4k 55" TV I'm only able to get FHD 1080 maximum resolution. I will not return it because I still need the switching, but I am not happy it does not support 4k

I always buy UGREEN products because of the reliability and smooth function. Unfortunately, this product is not meet that standard. It does "work" and therefore I cannot return it citing any "fault". It did not work with two of my existing HDMI cables (which worked with the other switch). So I had to run out to buy new ones. It did "work" then, but compared to an existing switch from another manufacturer (that was cheaper too), the UGREEN switch stutters and falters before it changes the channel. I would not really recommend anyone to buy this.

If you have many gadgets to connect to screen and it has limited hdmi slots l. This is the solution. Remote is nice also to shift the connections

I was hoping to connect 2 computers using this adapter to a 34 inch ultrawide monitor, the resolution changed drastically and I couldn’t manage to make it work in a way that looked good

Long Story I'll try to keep it short my TV only has 2 HDMI ports for at the time it was enough for my Nividia and PS4 with a eye in the future to get a Blu Ray Player. So I figured I might as well start looking into my HDMI situation so my first switch was alright it was 4 in 1 out with a Optical out Nividia worked flawless but the CEC with the PS4 didn't but hey no Biggie I just have to manually switch to play. I went back to the comments of this switch and came across a thread where someone got the 8k Version of the switch from the same company and CEC worked so I started the return process of the first switch and ordered the 8k but same result so I was hey alright not what I wanted not perfect but still functional and I got additional HDMI for my Blu Ray. So about a little over a week has passed and will on the Amazon app I came across a Sony Blu Ray for $78 and jumped on it now it's time to hook it up with the switch Oh-Oh no CEC couldn't use my TV remote had to go with the player's one wasn't happy but it work. Now here the problem started I could go between the PS4 and Nividia with no problems but switch to the Blu Ray no signal only way to get Blu Ray was to turn off the switch back on set to input to play That was No Go now glad I got that Blu Ray or I would have been stuck with this switch so Now I got this for return now and now I was just bout to go back to just two HDMI ports and play the swap out game between the Blu Ray and PS4 til I said something has to be out there that can work so back to Amazon app I was about to purchase two different ones before I came across this Ugreen don't know what but I decided to get this one Man from the Pics I knew this item was small but when it arrived I was like dang this is really small no way this going to work the two switches I had before was 2 3x the size and couldn't do job so I know this little poor thing was dud so let hook it up and let start another return. Don't judge a book by its cover this Little Device is a Monster CEC is for my PS4 and Blu Ray don't really need the remote unless I want to go between the PS4 and Blu Ray and unlike the two previous switches, and a tip I got from YouTube comments when I was waiting for delivery, I don't have to use the power cord the PS4 and Blu Ray give its power this Ugreen came thru like a Champ

Top ding! Ik gebruik hem voor mijn DVD speler en Nintendo Switch. Werkt goed en doormiddel van het afstandsbediening kan je heel goed wisselen tussen de apparaten. Ik ben er zeer tevreden over.

Es perfecto, funciona de maravilla y estoy muy contento me a solucionado mi problema y funciona. El dispositivo tiene led muy pequeños como cabezas de agujas, esta pensando para ponerlo de forma oculta porque el sensor del mando se conecta con un cable para como digo no se vea y que pongas solo el sensor en cualquier esquina que te interesé y ademas tiene también un adhesivo de doble cara con la forma del sensor para que lo puedas sujetar, también lleva el cable de alimentación, esto estaba dentro de la caja, pero en las fotos esto ultimo no aparece. Recibido al día siguiente de comprarlo, perfecto. 😉🙂😀👍
