Fits perfectly and sits in the perfect spot in my Mazda. I can still view all of the dash screen and press the hazards button. It’s strong and super affordable. It can hold smaller and bigger phones, and hold phones vertical or horizontal with the charger cable staying plugged in. I would recommend this to anyone with a 2020 cx-5.

I was skeptical that this would work but it works well for my 2019 CX5. I use it for Maps and I Shazam songs I hear while driving around and this makes it so I don't have divert my eyes from the road. Feel like and Uber driver. It fits into the dash easily and doesn't mess up anything. Phone fits in and out of the holder easily and I have one of those PopSocket phone grips on the back. It very slightly obscures the lower right hand corner of the display screen (not a big deal) and doesn't seem to block the airflow of the passenger vent that I aim towards me when I don't have anyone else in the car.

This a really good phone holder. Made for the CX5 (I have a 2025) and mounts perfectly. The only draw back is that it will not accommodate an even slightly bulky phone case. I do have to remove my case when I use it but I'm ok with that because it's specific mounting location is perfect. and it does hold the phone securely. I haven't found one that works better in the CX5.

I bought this in April 2023 when I purchased my 2019 Mazda CX-5. It's such an incredibly perfect fit. It looks like it came with the car. Before this, I had one that you installed onto the car with the combination of a sticker and suction. I couldn't get the thing off of my Hyundai when I went to sell it. I decided that I wanted something that wouldn't leave permanent damage should I decide to sell the car. I haven't tried to remove this, but can't imagine that you couldn't pry it off. I typically do not use the slide features to hold my phone. I have an iPhone 13 and I just sit it on the device and it holds it just fine. I don't use it for GPS since I have Apple CarPlay, but I do use it to thumbs up or thumbs down songs on Pandora while driving. Overall, I like it. It doesn't block airflow and even while running the heater in my car during a 7-hour road trip, it didn't cause my phone to overheat. I'd buy this again and recommend it to anyone who has a compatible vehicle.

Mazda CX-5 mount fit the dashboard vents perfectly. I love that the mount doesn't block either vent's airflow. I have a larger phone and with the case being a little thicker - I had a problem with the phone holder, but realized I could swap the phone holder with one from a different set. The ball joint between the dashboard mount and the phone holder is compatible with other phone holders, so I swapped that part with a larger phone holder. Simply unscrew the nut and pull the holder off the mount if you need a bigger holder like me. Then swap. I didn't return because the Mazda dash mount truly fit perfectly.

This model was designed for my car. It snapped in place on the dash without affecting operation of any controls. It snaps in and is very stable. Next the phone holder mounts on the bracket using a ball and socket. It has a tension plastic nut that was very effective at allowing the phone holder to be stable while driving. The phone sets in the holder, gravity sets in and tightens the upper brackets to the phone to hold securely. Did notice my wife has a phone case with a card holder in the back. the resulting thickness of the phone did not work in the holder. My phone, S21, has a basic case and it went in very well.

I was using a different phone holder in my CX-5, but it was so rattly! I thought, there must be a better one, and I found it! This holder is just like my old one in that it is specifically for use in a CX-5. The differences are: it is much more sturdy, stable and easy to use. Now when I'm driving, I don't hear the constant rattle of cheap plastic. My Samsung Note10+ fits snugly and smoothly in the holder. I highly recommend this phone holder!

This mounts perfectly to the interior of 2019 Mazda CX-5; almost looks like it is part of the car's interior. The weight of the phone helps to secure it and lift phone up to easily remove.
