We have been full-time campers for about eight years going across the country. We constantly use the surge protectors. 1 is a 30 amp and one is a 50. These work really well. Although I do prefer the 50 amp over the 30 we have purchased one before and did get a replacement and had to utilize the warranty because water was able to get inside of the protector and shorted out. Other than that, these are a great price point for the peace of mind, knowing that your camper is safe I would really recommend this brand to anybody who uses a camper. As a matter of fact, we do recommend it to everybody that we run into.

Performs as advertized. Have used it for many years from storms in FL to AZ desert, Oregon, CA. Sturdy, convenient to pull it out of outlet. Cover to keep out dust & rain.

Works perfectly. Do not go camping with your RV without a surge protector. The price is right for this one. It is well worth the money.

I had one of these before upgrade to a new camper with 50A service, and I bought the 50A version of this. Why? Well over the 4 years I had this, it prevented several spikes that could've caused serious damage and it's also allowed me to diagnose issues with some of the poles it's attached to. It's big and heavy, but it works. I won't plug in with out one at this point.

It appears the manufacturer attempted to save money by using a smaller box. Some assembly is required but easily handled if you have a small Phillips head screwdriver. The item works as expected. I would have rated it 5 stars but had to find a screwdriver to assemble the protective cover.

Very pleased & works great

We’ve used the surge protector for a year solid and on our way to AZ in November 2025 we stopped at a park in Amarillo and after about 30 minutes we lost power. Went to the pedestal and the surge protector was fried and the breaker on the pedestal wouldn’t reset. There was a spot next to us that was open so we went to tractor supply and bought another surge suppressor and plugged into that pedestal. We called the manager the next morning and he came and checked the outlet. It wound up being faulty. We’re so glad we were using the surge suppressor or our motor home wiring could have been fried so it did its job!

We have dry camped for years, but now wanted to get into RV resorts too. Heard these were a necessity and I hope to never need to find out why. Easy plug and play, the lights tell you exactly what you hooked up to. Also I like the security ring on the unit so I can chain it up and not worry about theft.

Works great. While others campers at the campground had many components fried during a thunderstorm this unit kept my trailer safe and no costly repairs for me like the other campers. At the start of this season, the lights were not coming on so I contacted the company and they replaced it under warranty. I highly recommend!

Seems to work perfectly. There is a ring for installing a padlock in the cord. The weatherproof box is good quality. Hopefully it will protect us from a voltage surge.

So far so good. Easy assembly, easy to use. I have no way to test if it's actually working, so as long as my trailer is not damaged by an electrical issue, I have to believe it is working. Cant speak to longevity as I've only just used it for 2 weeks.

It's been working on the trailer for a while now. Not sure how I tell if it has stopped a surge ... but no problems with the TV, battery charger, phone chargers, etc
