Worth the Money
These are highest quality chainsaw trousers manufactured in Europe. I recently completed my winter timber harvest in northern Maine where snow and countless sources of sharp sticks wanting to snag and rip protective clothing are the daily routine. The heavy surface fabric and expert stitching held up perfectly. Attached is a photo after two months of daily wear felling and delimbing fir. They might look filthy but you won't be able to find the tiniest tear. Over the years I have purchased other brand chainsaw trousers for which I paid well over $100, and they were a heap of shreds after similar use. I expect these to survive several more winters. Regarding sizing and warmth, these fit very well over one or two layers of long underwear and provide all day warmth to temperatures at least as low as -10 degrees Fahrenheit. Working outdoors at such temperatures I also commonly wear several layers of upper body clothing that I tuck into my trousers. My waist is 35 inches and these pant's 40 to 42-inch elastic waist allowed this without being either too tight or too lose. I wear a 35-inch inseam trouser and these pant's provided adequate length to cover my boot tops down to ankle level. An elastic inner gaiter with boot lace hook prevented any snow from getting under the trousers or into the tops of my boots. Despite a thin, breathable, full length, 4 to 6 inches wide panel with zipper ventilation port that runs down the back of each leg, I suspect that these pants would be hot in the summer.

Good protection, reasonable comfortable.
Great protection and I really like the suspenders. They’re designed for climbers so they are pretty snug in the crotch. My business was a bit sore after a day of falling, but I’ll get used to it. I’m a hand amputee and see myself as being out of spare limbs. I work falling timber a minimum of an hour from help so it’s worth a little discomfort to have a little safety net from spinning sharp things.

Very good product
I’m a volunteer sawyer that clears hiking and mountain bike trails in North Florida. I’m not an arborist. I frequently hike in to a location with all my gear to handle downed trees from tropical storms. Usual temps this time of your are in the 90’s with high humidity. That being said, these pants soak up a lot of sweat. The small ventilation opening behind the legs don’t provide any noticeable cooling. But I when the heat index is 100 degrees I doubt anything would help. The pants are very easy to move in with no binding or pulling. I was very surprised at my mobility while wearing a thick garment. Pockets are deep and the zippers are oriented for easy use. Suspenders are great. Pants provide great protection. I accidentally spilled bar oil down one of the legs today. Seemed to have no effect on the outer layer, after I wiped it off. Tag says to machine wash in hot water and air dry. Today they got their first wash and will need overnight to dry. Overall I’m satisfied with this product. They are much more comfortable than the apron chaps that I've worn. Price is high but quality is excellent.

Pretty Darn Good
These pants are pretty tough. I don't climb like I used to but I still do. These are really nice in the fact they aren't puffy and stick close to your body, eliminating hang ups. The L size fits me pretty well with a 36-37" waist. I have not seen any problems with the stitching like other reviewers have stated. I also like that they come with suspenders. None of my other Stihl pants came with suspenders. The two brands are very comparable in performance. These are much easier to find.

Fits well
Pants fit great. I can’t stand wearing chaps and I work installing ziplines. Doing a tree based coarse I knew there would be a lot of tree removal work before hand and as I said I hate chaps. Took a chance on these and loved them. Pockets are great, big enough for big phones and zip up so no saw dust gets in. These can get toasty, but the vent zippers in the back help a ton with cooling. Pricey but worth it in my opinion

Large
I purchased the large which are 36-38 waist they're pretty tight on me. I'm ok with some tightness. It's not so tight the it restricts my movements but I would have sized up if I knew it was going to be this tight. I'm a 37 waist built like a wrestler (thick thighs, broad shoulders, fat @$$) I'm a 38 in everything so I'd say these pants run small but I do like them alot
