We purchased a fire pit and one of the starter kits were included. After setting up the fire pit and using the fire starter, we immediately got online and ordered a box of the starters. The starters get the fire started very quickly saving so much time and sanity for parents attempting to light a fire for their not so patient littles. The starters don't give off any smells or smoke and get the fire rolling very quickly. They take the stress out of starting the fire and enable you to enjoy the fire so quickly. We will be purchasing again.

Perfect Fire starter packs!!

I wanted something to have a quick fire with my new solo stove mesa xl. This did the trick. Lasts about 30 minutes, but can be extended with wood chunks or small logs. For a quick s’mores session, or bourbon outside after the kids go down… these are great!

The product makes good on it's promise. It starts fires and large ones at that. Even if they cut the packs in half, theses would not have trouble starting a large fire pit even with only lightly seasoned hard woods. These packs are too large. You get a large heavy box with 10 large packs. My point is they could have quartered these bags and I would only use one quarter for my large fire pit with hard would that is well seasoned. If you have fresher wood or a super large fire, you can just add packs and distribute them better if they were quarter sized and had 40 in the pack instead of 10. I took off 1 star just because of how large and wasteful these are. I am cutting the bags in half which is messy but more than what I need.

This is all I need to start my fire. Lights fast, stays lit, ignites a fire.
