How do you change refill the ink cartridge for the ballpoints on the light edition

Gently pull off the top and the refill unscrews from the barrel of the pen. Replace and make sure the refill comes out the bottom by testing the twist. Gently press the top back on the barrel of the pen. Good to go.

I bought a rollerball pen, 6 months ago, so do not know the answer to your question. I don't see anything on the barrel of my pen that might be a silicone grip, but it isn't a ballpoint.
