Very useful. When it is very hot in summer, it can keep the air conditioner stable and cool. I am what I want. The machine's heat dissipation is also very good, and the weight is not light. You know, this is not a toy, it is a real-price good thing.

Works great; however, it came soaked in petrochemicals and the TSA banned it from going on my flight. Make sure you unpack it and let it air out for a month first.

The first AR-5000 arrived DOA. Would not power up. Opened it up, measured the input voltage inside -- 110 VAC was there on input. There was also 110 VAC on three stabiled output NEMA 5-15 outlets on the front panel, but no 220 VAC output at all. Packed it up and returned for exchange. Normal return places were not available, had to drive to amazon hub. Received replacement unit in a few days. It did power up, and gave 220 VAC output. Attached a 220 VAC oven and AR-5000 powered it up for exactly three minutes, then started to produce a loud grinding noise. I found a video on YouTube where a guy explains how fixed it by finding loose or not well-soldered contacts inside and then re-soldering them. Well, I expect new item to just work. Amazon does not allow me to do a third exchange (second return), the only option is refund. Pitty: I really wanted AR-5000 to work for me. Manual says there is a fuse inside, while there is none. Quality of build and assembly is absolutely dismal: many screws cannot be tightened up as you try. The second unit came with the analog voltage meter fallen out and inside: had to take the cover off and place it back into its bracket. Smells heavily of machine oil and smell becomes more intense after power up ( IF it powers up, that is ). Not worth $180 at all. Just stay away from it.

Bought this product for my electrical lab in my plant as we have some 230 VAC devices which we needed to test. Very sturdy built. Delivered on time and doing great uotill now.

This power inverter works great. I bought it to run my portable table saw and I've had no issues going from 220 to 110. I would definitely buy it again. As a saw starts up it does not draw down the wattage of the box as the cheaper models do.

Initially it blew out the circuit when I switched it on with 120v mains. Upon opening the case, I found the wires either not soldered initially, or poorly soldered as to have failed upon switch-on. I carefully resoldered the 120/240 switch, and it now performs as expected.

Voltage in = Same voltage output. Does not regulate to 220v +-4%. My input voltage is 239 and output is the same but 229 should be the max according to what's advertised

Saw it, bought it, purchased it. Was delivered on time and so far it met all my expectations. I do certainly recommend it (y)
