Small and accurate compass
Great little compass ! I've had terrible luck with button compasses actually working and wanted a small reliable compass for my edc kit and this little gem fit the bill perfect. It points north very accurately.

Quality Product. Good Company Reputation. Probably would not buy again. The price was great, but at the end of the day, the fact that the housing is made of plastic means that you need to be careful with it. I'd probably go with one of their metal housed ones next time purely because of the increased durability. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing bad about the quality of this one, but it is on the low end of the price range. So, its kinda one of those "get what you pay for" situations. It works fine and looks nice, but it requires more careful handling than the metal housed ones.

The needle skims the bottom and sticks sometimes so I am NOT confident it is consistently accurate

Perfect!
The Brunton Tag-Along 9040 Compass was exactly what was described for the compass. Good quality that should last. ACCURATE!!! This one points North every time. Light weight and perfect for my fishing bag. Would be great on a backpack.

Love it!
Absolutely love this piece , my other compass is great , however only the North arrow and the north tip of the arm glowed. And this one , the entire thing glows!! Perfection!!

Great for what it is.
An ideal, simple, non-specific orienting device, ideal for navigating dark spaces. Not in any way appropriate for orienteering
