A little preventative maintenance, and this is an AWESOME piece of playscape fun!
For this price...I honestly could not possibly be happier.Based on other reviews, I also bought some 303 waterproofing that people tend to use on boat covers, and convertible tops with GREAT success. I see no reason why a healthy application on the seats wouldn't extend the lives significantly.Took me about an hour to put together. A second person is basically required for a few steps, but can mostly be done alone. Assembly was no real issue. Minimal parts for the size and movement as far as I'm concerned.Took two 200 lbs adults for a ride with no problem. So far from amazon I have bought this, a canvas seat swing, a disc swing and all hardware. I'm about $300 in, and feel I'm well on my way to creating a fantastic backyard play area for my almost 6 year old daughter. Next up is a geometric climbing dome for around 170. I feel I'm coming out WAY ahead of spending 800-1500 for a playscape-in-a-box. As soon as I figure out how to integrate a slide somewhere, playscapes will offer nothing over what I'm doing.People also mentioned chipped paint in places....a-yup. I see that too. Again, a little preventative maintenance makes this a non-issue. All of our cars require some money and attention at least every 3 months with oil changes and the like. A little waterproofing here, a little paint there, for a piece of equipment meant to last years, shouldn't be a huge deterrent.Forgot to mention the 14' circle trampoline with enclosure...got a good deal on that a year ago, around $200.My daughter is over 4 feet tall at her age. This lifts her butt about 4' off the ground at it's highest. PLENTY high enough for her, or any of her reasonably sized classmates (my daughter being unreasonably tall). It is EXTREMELY sturdy. I have no worries about failure. The handlebars in front of the seats do a fantastic job, and have nice, padded grips, and padded center bar just in case.Id does have holes in all four feet if you wanted to mount it to the ground, but I see no NEED to do this, but extra options are always appreciated. The only tools you WILL need are a socket (5/8" if memory serves) and a channel lock/vice grip/something akin. I also needed a hammer for 3/4 pins. One pin slid rright in, no problem...the other three went about 3/4 of the way in, and would not budge. Hammering them in I knew was not the best idea...but they had to be inserted. Luckily, I was gently enough that I didn't mess up any of the threading. Those pins, and the accompanying hardware, were difficult.***TIP FROM PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER***Those aforementioned pins are the pivot points when this swings up and down. There are two black metal "caps" that go around the outside of the pins, and a short bolt that goes through the cap, in to the pin. You will never, EVER get all for black metal caps snugly in until you tighten the bolts. I fought this for about 10 minutes before the light bulb went off, and I laughed at my own stupidity. Literally 60 seconds later, it was done.I felt the price was a steal. I figured it would be 3-400 for this kind of thing, I was pleasantly surprised. I know my daughter will get years of use out of this. Her 7 and 9 year old cousins love it as well. And her 16 and 17 year old siblings tried to hide the fun they had while playing with all the kids.I will definitely be looking at other gym dandy products after this experience.

Sturdy, fun toy!
My kids, ages 6 and 7, LOVE this spinning teeter totter. I would definitely recommend getting the one that spins because it adds a whole other dimension of excitement. It’s well made, and though neither of them weight over 50 lbs, it can easily hold much more weight than that! I’m super happy with this purchase.

We Love It!
Our family couldn't be happier with this wonderful product. It took a little over an hour to put together. I was amazed at how large the seats are and how sturdy it is especially since we haven't even pinned it down yet. My kids (ages 3.5 & 9) Love it and are so happy with the look and how fun it is with handle bars like a bike. It seems to be a product they can use for many years to come. As an adult, I even tried it out with my 9 year old and was extremely impressed. I would definitely recommend and it's definitely worth the price.

Lots of fun!
Sturdy, lots of fun, and holds up well in the weather! We keep ours outside, all the time. We have had it for three years now. The seats are faded from the sun, and look cracked, but no rips or holes in the seats yet. When the time comes I will have them reupholstered, but they are outside all year long, and have never had to oil it or anything. my kids ages 6-9 still use it on a regular basis, and I noticed the neighbors just bought one for their kids after seeing ours! Even adults can play on it! Never tips, and the color on the metal has not faded in the least!UPDATE: I noticed the seat was tipped so I went out and it came right off. The wood was rotted under the padding, so I could not reupholster it. The other seat is the same way. HOWEVER... I called the company, Impex, and asked if they could replace the seats. I had to give them the model number which is TT210, The seats are only $10 each! Shipping and handling is $9.87 for where I live. Not bad to replace them after three years of ownership! I am extremely happy with this item and highly recommend it!The seats on mine lasted about a year before weather started to fade them, then another two years before they broke and the wood was all rotted. The metal is still as shiny and bright as it was on the day I bought it! And it works great still!UPDATE 2016 It is now April and our teeter totter is still looking like new! We have had little kids, tweens, and even adults playing on this thing. It stays out in the snow and rain and sunshine. And it gets sun all day long, no shade. It still looks great. Cant go wrong with this item and I have even seen my neighbors buy it too!

Teeter-Totter
This teeter-totter is super sturdy and lots of fun! Our kiddos have had a blast since we bought it. They are both elementary age and play with it almost every time they go outside. I like the padded seats because at least once a week one kid jumps off and the other busts their rear end on the ground. Because the seats are padded, they don't complain too much about it.The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because some of the screws were messed up that it came with. Fortunately, my hubby is pretty handy so he just went to the hardware store and bought what he needed to fix it.

Teeter totter
We’ve had it a month. It is sturdy and made of a heavier duty material than what we had before. We are hopeful the metal will not break. It requires two people to assemble and it wasn’t fairly easy.
