Classic Cat Calming Spray, 60ml | Comforts Cats at Home and On the Go and Helps to Calm During Travel

I have been ordering Feliway off and on for many years, upon my vet's recommendation. I have had 2 very skittish cats, both due to illnesses and their required multiple vet visits. After a while the visits became more and more stressful on both the cats and me, but I started using the spray and it definitely helped! About 20 minutes before we leave the house I spray the inside of the carrier and her favorite blanket to lay on which gives it time to dry/dissipate, and the result is amazing. No more (or very limited) crying and howling on the ride there, minimal stress during the exam, and much easier to get proper readings on labs or imaging! I have also used the plug-in type Feliway for my first cat when he began spraying (even though he was neutered!) and he stopped after a short while. I would definitely recommend Feliway. Whatever is in this product definitely works and I cannot find anything negative to say about it. I will say that since it works so well, please don't overdo using the spray. Use it as needed and in just the quantity that it takes to get the job done. It is great for redirecting behavior and forming new (better) habits but should not be used simply to take the kitten out of the cat, if you know what I mean. Oh, one last thing.... I have tried other calming sprays - don't waste your money, they do NOT work as well (if at all).

This one is so great to give your fur babies stress, anxiety going on with multiple cats. It was amazing seeing my cat more relaxed on the way home from the vet. They told me they sprayed inside his carrier this stuff because he was stressed. He was so good on the way home, he wasn't like doped up after getting out of the carrier. I'm so happy that this product did everything the Vet said it would, easy to use spray bottle lasts for a decent amount of time, can use around pet's bedding and other areas your cats are usually around. Definitely made sure I had it this past July 4th just in case. But it's a good thing to help your fur babies when they get stressed. Recommended to use before you take your cat to the vet or going on a trip. Also comes in plug in as well as the spray. I got the small bottle and it has lasted,no smelly odor,decent price and we use it as needed for one fur baby. Give it a try and I think you're going to like it for your cat(s).

I am currently integrating (2) 7 months old kittens with (2) 18 months old cats. Today was the first day where I didn’t have the spray so there was a lot of tension and aggression. The minute I sprayed this all throughout my house, everyone became calm and the aggression eased up. The only thing that I dislike about this is that you have to spray it every few hours which results in it finishing faster. For the price, I think they should make a bigger bottle.

****Edit, UPDATE: I’ve come to realize that I CANNOT breathe in the air after I spray this stuff. I am generally more sensitive to smells and dust and whatnot but not asthmatic. But something about this stuff makes my chest and throat tighten to where I cannot breathe if it’s in the air and I have to leave the room. So if you’re sensitive too or are asthmatic, use with caution!! It doesn’t seem to irritate my cat or any of my other family members though. To be honest, I can't tell a difference in my cat's anxiety or behavior when I spray this vs when I don't. I've used it for vet visits and am planning to use it on a flight with my cat. My vet uses the diffuser version for their dedicated cat room so it must do something right? It feels quite a bit overpriced for what it is. I think the gabapentin I'll be giving my cat for her travel anxiety will do much more than this spray ever could. Maybe it works better for cats with more behavioral problems though? My cat is generally pretty happy and friendly, but gets anxious around the carrier and leaving the house. I've gotten quite a lot of sprays out of the bottle so far. It smells mostly like alcohol at first, but there is a faint smell of ~something~ that lingers for a bit. Would I buy this again? Maybe if I run out and need to introduce my cat to another cat/dog and want it to go well? [**Also UPDATE: used it to try and introduce a new cat and dog. Made absolutely no difference. Only gabapentin helped.] Or maybe the diffuser would help when we're traveling and she's home alone (with my family popping in to check up on her)? Otherwise, I think I'll skip it.

This works SOOO GOOD! Seriously it has been an absolute lifesaving product to me! I have 2 cats & live In a small apartment while also working long days at my job and when I get home I’m so tired sometimes that I just want to lay down & relax & sometimes my cats want to act wild and pounce on me, scratch my couch right where my head is at & pretty much just try to get my attention in the most annoying ways u can imagine. LOL!! I love my kitties & never want to yell at them so now thanks to this I just get my lil cat spray out that’s always stored right under my pillow & I will spray a couple squirts around myself and IMMEDIATELY my cats become calm & loving & we all sleep sound together . It’s that magical, it blew my mind! So I truly can’t give this product enough praise, since it’s been an absolute miracle to my quality of sleep & life. It’s a must in my home!! I never have wrote a Amazon review but I just had to for this 🙌🏻

I was told to get this for my cat by the vet and it most certainly does work is very helpful when there are storms or changes being made in the home

As recommended by my veterinarian, I purchased the Feliway for my cat to calm him during an 18 hour car ride. I sprayed one spray into his carrier 1 hour prior to leaving on our trip. The instructions read that it wears off in 5 hours. We began our trip without incident. We were about 12 hours into our trip when it was my turn to get our cat out of his carrier and offer him food, water and his litter box. I had him out for about 15 minutes holding and petting him. I felt a little weird but just thought I was tired from the drive. I put him back into his carrier and we got back on the road. Thankfully, I was not driving at the time. Ten minutes later my tongue and lips began to tingle and swell, my throat felt as if it were narrowing, I began to cough like I had just inhaled some hay particles and was randomly nodding off. If it would have gotten any worse I would have had to find the nearest ER. These symptoms ever so slowly subsided but in all, lasted 8 hours! The description, packaging, insert and bottle all read that the product does not effect humans. I am 100 percent sure this is what caused my reaction as I am 34 years old with no record of allergies and I couldn't pet my cat for a week without having a reaction, more mild than the first exposure. He was given a thorough bath and his carrier scrubbed. I haven't had an issue since.

I have two male cats in my house, and they've suddenly started spraying. They aren't young, they are 6 and 7, soon to be 7 and 8. I've tried other "repellents," to keep them from their favorite spot to violate to no avail. After a few days of using this cat calming spray, no pissing on the pantry door. I may look at the plug in version and put it in the outlet near that door for use when we are gone for extended periods of time.

This does work. The trick is you have to spray everything that is at the level of your cat’s rear end. I sprayed the areas where my cat sprayed and then he found the areas that I didn’t spray with Feliway and then he sprayed there! Because of that I find the amount in the bottle too little. I would like this effective product to be more affordable. Thank you though for stopping 80-90% of the marking issue in my domesticated yet still feral tomcat. The spray smells sort of sweet which I really don’t like, so it’s best to hold your breath, spray the areas and leave till it settles.
