even though it is plastic, it feels like metal. Very sturdy and very good. We always use it when we go to the beach.

Used it over the weekend and it worked great. Went easily into the sand and held in my umbrella just fine! I might be a little careful though with the handles as it gets a little harder to turn as it goes deeper in and well.. Plastic does break.. Overall though good buy! Don't regret it.

It is really hard to screw in the sand, it's a workout for sure! however it did it's job and kept the umbrella in place, did not have to adjust at all.

Doesn't work very well. Really hard to get into the ground and didn't hold the umbrella well at all.

I ordered this after our last beach day kept blowing our umbrella out of the sand. This thing really works and my 13 year old daughter was strong enough to easily use it herself. We had one particularly windy day this week at the beach and our umbrella didn't move! I highly recommend this!

The anchor works great and held in place, it also held the umbrella in place. The only thing I noticed about the sturdiness was when the umbrella was tightened. The screw pushed the umbrella pole enough to make the circle opening into an oval and I noticed a whitening of the plastic (stretching). Other than that, it works great!

Great solid piece. Takes your basic flimsy umbrella pole and makes it rock solid. Used on a very windy day with 100% success.

Best to use in sand
