Nintendo 3DS XL Handheld System - Black/Blue (Renewed) [Nintendo DS]

I have ordered a Refurbished - Excellent: Nintendo New Galaxy 3DS XL. Through Amazon's shipping, I received this beautiful New Galaxy 3ds xl early! The system had everything with it to get started as I was provided with a charger with the system listing I had chosen through CaveGamers, and it did have the stylus. I've thoroughly inspected the New 3ds xl exterior and interior. The exterior barely any cosmetic wear whatsoever! There's not much that could've been concerning. There was maybe one or two surface level scratches on the top and bottom of the case, but you have to go out of your way to notice or feel them. No chips in the paint and I like how the Galaxy shines! As for the inside of the system, it's also in excellent condition. I tried out all of the buttons and they felt snappy as they should. There wasn't any damage or scratches on the screens or other cosmetic damage that I was able to tell. All that I needed to do was let the system charge as it was dead on arrival. I ordered a replacement battery as I know these systems and their batteries are starting to reach their end cycle. The battery currently in the system looked fine but was barely bloating so I'm upgrading with a new regardless. Either way, the new 3ds xl turned on after getting the battery to full. I was welcomed to the setup screen. The screens were working as intended too, with no dead pixels and the 3D with its tracking is reliable. Overall, the system looked like it was barely used! While I used to have the old 3DS in Red as a kid, this feels so far as a great upgrade! I am impressed with what I received and feel this is what I would've expected. I'm going to relive my childhood!

Product arrived promptly & was professionally delivered by an amazon delivery specialist. Very nice! The product itself, not so nice. This was a horrible purchase as my item came with so much wear for an item that was supposedly “refurbished”. At most it was tested for functionality. I opened it up to find that there was sticky soda residue around the buttons & all over the shell. Absolutely scammy. The shell came scraped & scratched. & the screens were scratched as well. I Do not recommend this product.

I usually am worried about buying used consoles, especially online. But I was not disappointed when I bought this!🙂 I got the white 3ds xl and the touch screen, buttons, 3d effect, and everything work as it should. There are only tiny scratches around the corners, but it was expected and honestly isn’t that noticeable unless you really look up close. The screen itself has not a single scratch. Also, once I got the console out of the box I noticed it was the Japanese 3ds ll, thinking I was getting the regular 3ds xl. It made me really worried if it was region locked, but all my games work and that’s the only thing I care about lol. Overall, I definitely think it was worth the money! I grew up mostly playing regular ds games on my dsi xl, so I am excited to play games I missed out on🥰

Seller: Base Electronics Overall, the condition of the console was great. The unit feels very sturdy, and the hinges are tight—it takes a bit of force to open and it snaps shut nicely. All buttons appear to be fully functional so far, and I haven’t run into any issues. The console I received was reshelled and still had the protective film on it. The colors look great, but it did not come with a serial number. The screens are practically flawless, although I did notice a few dust particles under the screen protector, which I hope won’t cause any issues down the line. I also noticed that some buyers received a charger with their unit, but mine did not. That may be seller-dependent, especially since this console originally did not come with a charger. Overall, I’m happy with what I received. The main downsides were the missing serial number, the dust under the screen, and a slightly misaligned shell—but it snapped into place after a small adjustment. If you’re buying a unit, this might be one of the more reasonably priced sellers. *case and screen protector were not included

I was skeptical, but received mine and it looks barely used! No scratches or blemishes that I could see and already had screen protectors on. Came in a nice leather or leatherette zelda case with knock off charger that works just fine! The stylus looks replaced but also works fine. Came 1/4 charged and is holding a charge really well after fully charging. Works perfectly, screens, buttons, sound, and 3d feature are all awesome! Super happy with my purchase and excited to play some of my childhood faves! Thank you for offering these systems!

Was shipped fast but I didn't see anything that was renewed. Screen scratches, analog stick has a big chunk out of it and when I took the back plate off to put in a sd card it was full of dirt. The system does work. Should be sold as used not renewed. So I paid 200.00 more than its worth. Lesson learned.

This 3ds runs really well, even had modded software already installed, but I don't really see anything "renewed". The shell is in rough shape, with chips all around, and it had a very swollen battery which caused the bottom part of the shell to warp so it doesn't close all the way leaving a pretty big gap. This causes it to squeak really loud when you just hold the device. Even after replacing the battery, it won't screw down. I understand that there was a possibility that the condition would less based off the description of amazon renewed, but I think that the battery being swollen like that and the bottom not being able to close would classify it lower in quality than "good". Especially for the price, I think the quality should be a lot better. I bought a second one to see if it's any better. I'll update my rating once that arrives. Edit: I lowered my rating by another Star because they sent the wrong item! They sent a regular 3ds XL instead of the “new” version. I understand mistakes happen in the packing process, but this looks shady. I know the differences between the regular 3ds xl and the “new” one, so I was able to spot it immediately. But not everybody is going to know that, and they slapped a black sticker over the 3ds branding on the back so you can’t see it.

Based on the mixed reviews I didn’t expect to get this good of a 3ds I bought mine in “excellent condition” and it looks pretty much brand new. There’s like one tiny tiny scratch that’s not really noticeable unless you look real close so It doesn't really bother me. It came with a stylus and a charger no SD card though which is fine. The charger doesn’t fit in all the way I don’t remember if that’s normal since I hadn’t had a 3ds for awhile but it still works and charges fine so I don’t really care. Oh and the cameras work fine. Update: The charger gave out. (One of the soldered wires in the inside of the charger detached). The charger seemed pretty cheap and light weight from the get go, but I thought it would be fine since it worked in the beginning. I recommend getting another charger before It might give out, just in case. Other than that still no complaints.
