I need to use these in a salt water environment. Are there any metal parts (springs etc) that are going to corrode away?

The first answer is yes I see a metal screw holding the two sections together but you really can't see inside the locking mechanism so I don't know if there is metal on the inside or not. I would guess that direct exposure to salt water would not be good for these cable cuffs.
