I just wanted to clear up something for those new to sewing with twin needles like I was when I first bought these. I had a big problem with the threads tangling together and there really isn't enough information out there about how to thread your machine using twin needles, as everything I read prior to finishing my project suggested that you just need to thread your machine as you normally would, only with two small spools of thread. I finally found out after some trial and error that the spools need to be facing opposite directions, as in one spool needs to be feeding clockwise and the other counter-clockwise in order for them not to get tangled. As far as the quality of the item, it serves its intended purpose once you thread it correctly and is of good quality. I hope this helps.

These twin needles are so much fun! Functional too.I got them to hem a dress.I wanted to copy the hems I see on store bought clothes and they do perfectly. Mine is made for stretch fabric so I also used it to take in a knit dress.Check to see first which needle fits your machine.My fits great with the standard foot.I use a wider walking foot to do Zig Zag.Its easy to use and thread.For the price, can't go wrong.Get creative and have fun!

I used this to hem and topstich a pair of leggings. It works great and made a really nice finish. If you don’t have a coverstich machine or a serger that can do it, this is an excellent alternative. These are a bit pricey, considering you will probably need to get a new one for each project. I’m going to check if they have this needle in chrome so I might be able to get a little more use out of them.

Love this for finishing knits at the neckline, armseye, and hems. It's never too late to learn something new, been sewing for decades, finally gave it a try after reading posts. Use woolly nylon for the bobbin, wind it directly from the spool without going through the tension spots, much easier than by hand. Use an empty bobbin for your second spool wound with thread if you are matching colors. A little pricey for a needle, but since it's a specialty item, won't get the heavy use.

Needles arrived on time and were exactly what I wanted

My hems and neckline binding on knits functions way better with this needle and stretch thread in the bobbin. I wish the needles were a little sturdier, they have a lot of flex. This may just be the nature of them needed for what they do though.
