Zoo Med ReptiSun 5.0 Mini Compact Fluorescent Lamp 13 Watts

I’ve been using this ReptiSun 5.0 UVB bulb for my anole, and it’s worked great. It fits perfectly in my fixture, is easy to install, and gives me peace of mind knowing my reptile is getting the UVB exposure they need. These are perfect for my snakes, I have them set up on a timed power strip and they always flip on in the morning. I’ve only had to replace one in the past year so I’d say it’s a good quality bulb. My snakes like them and sit under them in the day so no complaints on functionality and quality. The price is reasonable compared to other sellers and fit perfectly in my dome lamp.

Coil UVBs are NOT good. These bulbs? Great. Even better if you can get the linear bulbs also by Zoomed that go across the entire enclosure. But these will do great if you’re on a budget or have a small setup. Have used these for my two crested geckos, one is 20g and one is 5g, both use the same bulbs (different wattage, though) for each of their tanks. Plan to upgrade to the T5/T8 lights when I’ve got the expendable money but I’ve had no issues so far. Doesn’t get hot, no health concerns for the geckos, great price point, lasts a long time. Solid bulbs! Not much else to say, I recommend these to anyone needing a UVB for a reptile!

機能性がよく一番UVBが出ていると思います。２０年近く貴社の蛍光灯を使用していますが、どの生体もとても元気です。 亀、トカゲは紫外線がとても大切です。今後も亀の飼育には必要不可欠なため使用していきます。

海外（ニューヨーク）から送られてきたので到着まで時間を要しました。 中国・日本製と英語で書かれていますのでどこで作っているのかはっきりしません。 取り付けたあとスイッチを入れても点灯しないことがあります。何回かやっていると点灯します。 電球には１２０Ｖ／６０Ｈｚと書かれていました。買う前に明記してほしいです。 関東ですと１００Ｖ／５０Ｈｚですので仕様が合いません。 買う前に必要電圧が明記されていない点は情報不足です。 日本語のサイトですので日本の電源事情に合わないのであれば明記していただきたい。 ニューヨーク在住なら問題ないのかもしれませんが。。

These are so much cheaper than the pets stores!! I can't believe I used to pay $30 for one bulb when I can get 2 here for that price. As with most ZooMed products, these bulbs are great. They last for a year or more with 12hrs of use per day. They don't get too hot even if left on all day which is great if using it for animals that don't really need the heat from it.
