3m 82003X ScotchCast Plus Casting Tape 3" x 4 Yards - Pink - 1 Roll

I’m currently a month into wearing a fiberglass pink leg cast. My doctor only applied one layer of casting material to keep my cast lightweight due to the location of my ankle break. Unfortunately I was having some overlap separation on the bottom of my foot and we were leaving for vacation the next day. I was able to get this fiberglass casting via same day delivery on Amazon. It saved me from having to make an emergency visit to my dr and I was able to enjoy my vacation without worrying about my cast. I did order 2 rolls because I was worried about some of the reviews saying it arrived already hardened. I did not have this problem with either roll. However you have to move fast because once it’s activated by air and water it will harden quickly. Also wear gloves!!! I started out not wearing them and regretted it immediately. It took me 3 hours to remove all the fiberglass glue from my hands! Lastly if you’re applying this overtop an existing cast it won’t stick directly to it, you have to overlap the new casting tightly. Keep in mind the more casting you put on the heavier your cast is going to get!

After 5 casts on my broken ankle, I knew how to use this. Wear gloves, it is sticky! Wet it enough and pat down. I needed it to patch a crack in my cast....worked perfectly. It is light pink, not neon as pictured but I added glitter glue like the orthopedist does...so I am happy with it. I do not recommend trying to set your own broken bone without seeing a doctor. It is hard and sets fast. I only used it to patch a seam that cracked when I fell.

Shes been obsessed with having a broken arm for years and thankfully it hasn't happened! This was easy to use, simply wet and wrap into the shape you'd want- definitely would work for a real broken arm.. if using for pretend play- we put 2 long socks on her arms before wrapping to ensure space between her arm and the hard cast and to make sure it would be removable! Dries quite fast so you need to work in a hurry!

This product worked exactly as described. The people complaining it was too hard, too fast bought the wrong product. It is advertised by the manufacturer to make a walk-ready cast in 20 minutes which was exactly what I needed. Plaster casts need to cure for 48 hours. So I would give it five stars but out if two rolls one was already rock hard and unusable. Buy extra and check the package for "squishiness" before relying on this!! Unfortunately we had already removed the previous splints in preparation and were left scrambling when the second roll was unusable.

I broke my foot. In on my second cast, a different doctor casted my foot. On my heel she only went around it once so there was no support and I was afraid that the cast material would break. I didn't want to be that person so I ordered this product. The wrapper looked just like the ones at the Dr. Make sure you wear gloves when applying the casting material and don't leave it in the water too long. It looks just like the pink cast. I now have support in my heel. It's been on for 3 hours now and it seems to be doing well.

This item was delivered quickly and exactly as described. I purchased this for career day at an elementary school for the physician I work with so she could teach the children how to cast. Each child got to cast a finger and then have all their friends sign it. They had a blast and this product worked Great & very easy for the kids to work with! I loved all the bright colors to choose from too!

I don’t know if it was just bad luck on my part, or if it was just a poor quality product or possibly even part of a bad batch, but it was already set when I opened it up, it was unusable, which was very disappointing! Especially considering the cost factor. *sigh* I just kind of expected better from Amazon.

Would not stick to itself very little resin on it
