Wonderful neck wray
Love this neck wrap. Heats up fast and stays warm about 20 minutes. So soft and not too heavy so it’s comfortable to wear.

Perfect lasting pain relief!
This is amazing! My neck is very stiff from belaying, and this is the best heat relief I could imagine!!! Stays warm. Flexible fit. Warms up in about 2 mins for me. Smells a bit like the heatable interior seeds when heated, but it’s such a better alternative than some sort of weird chemically laden filler. It is great for moist heat. Highly recommend! Worth every penny! My neck stayed flexible and pain free for hours after.

Love the handles
Overall, this is a quality item. It is soft to the touch and holds heat for a long time. It works well in providing relief for more of an ache than an actual pain. However, there were two things that were not so good. First, upon opening, it has a pretty bad smell. I ended up having to put it outside for two days. Second, heating it in the microwave for 2 minutes (as directed in the instructions) is too long. This made it too hot. I would recommend 90 seconds, maybe 100. What is very nice about this heating pad are the two handles. You can push one through the other and it does a fantastic job of holding the heating pad in place.

Exceeds my expectations
I’ve been using this heating pad for a couple of weeks now, and it’s quickly become my go-to for neck and shoulder tension. The length is perfect, it drapes comfortably across my shoulders and even down my back, which most other pads I’ve tried can’t cover. I like that it has a bit of weight to it; the gentle pressure feels soothing while the heat works on sore muscles. It heats up evenly in the microwave and stays warm longer than I expected. The fleece cover is soft against the skin, and the herbal scent is calming without being overpowering. Overall, this feels well-made and durable. I’ve noticed real relief from stiffness after long workdays, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a simple, natural way to ease tight muscles.

Be careful how long you microwave
I really liked the fabric and texture of the product. It was a good size and helped with pain, but there was a bit of an issue with the heating. I’m unsure if it was my fault or not, but the fabric did melt some in the microwave creating a hole where the beans came out. Maybe just be mindful of how long you microwave, could’ve been my fault!

Working well so far (tips for heating)
The longer shape is great for neck therapy while doing other things. In general, I prefer the ThermiPaq clay pads (they get hotter and they last longer), but the only long one they make has clay beads instead of the "mushy" clay, which isn't as effective. I find this product gives more heat and lasts longer than the clay beads. I experience neck pain and have been using this almost daily for a few weeks. I like it, and it doesn't smell like lavender (or anything else), which is a big plus. A few thoughts: 1. HAVE A MICROWAVE NEARBY. This holds its heat relatively well, but if you want constant *high* heat you'll need to reheat it every 15 minutes or so. 2. USE A PLATE OR CLOTH WHEN HEATING. Don't get it dirty, and especially not greasy. That will create problems when heating. 3. FLIP DURING HEATING. I see complaints about the seeds inside burning. My guess is they ran the microwave for too long and/or overcooked one spot. The manufacturer recommends 60-90 seconds; I rotate it every 30–45 seconds (flipping it 90-180 degrees each time) and go closer to 120 seconds to pack a little more heat in. 4. CHECK IT WHEN HEATING. When you flip it every 30 seconds or so, feel across the surfaces. It takes a couple seconds and if any part of it feels *hot* then you're done. If you're not sure, shake the seeds and feel again. Go easy on it, and don't blame me if you burn it — every microwave is different (I heat this in three different locations with different kinds of microwaves — no problems so far). 5. SHAKE IT BY THE HANDLES. If you wear this around your neck, the seeds will settle on the ends, in which case you won't get as many seeds in the center (neck!) area as you want do the heating. Fold it in half, hold it by both handles, and give it several gentle shakes. The seeds go back to the center and you'll enjoy more of that heat. When, inevitably, I do burn this one out, I'm going to buy another, and another, and another.

Product Overheats and Burns Up Easily in Microwave.
I would give this product 5 stars because we bought this to use for neck pain and both my husband and I received relief the first few uses during the month that we purchased it. I was even thinking about buying a second one. However, after only a few uses, it burned up in the microwave, creating a hole in the product where the beads are spilling out. Due to traveling and life stuff, we were just over the time where we couldn’t return it, so it’s a loss for us. It was great while it lasted.

[Update] Mel and the UNCN team were incredible and provided me a replacement just days after the original product burst. I have had the replacement product now for 3 weeks using constantly every day due to a pinched nerve in my neck. I couldn't recommend the product more, compared to the other options on Amazon, this covers a larger surface area and the handles are also made of soft material. If you are looking for a heated bean bag, and if any issues do arrise, the company really cares for its customers and is responsive so 100% go for it. ------- [Original post] Item arrived well packaged, is soft and comfortable. Used the item 4 or 5 times on the first day, and while it is not as effective as a hot water bottle, is far more convenient and offers comparable heating and a lovely wrap around the neck. The handles are also a nice touch. Sadly the item burst in the microwave upon the 5th or 6th use so had to return the item.

Only issue is that the seeds move around too much to make the heat uniform. Not a major problem.

This is a great heat pad. It's good quality, super soft and comfortable. I warm mine for 1.5 - 1.75 minutes in the microwave. It stays warm for about 10-15 minutes. Very happy with the next day delivery!

I heat in a 700 watt microwave for 3 min; there is no rotator, but that does not seem to be a problem regarding heat distribution; this product is better than the lavender magic bag; I went through 3 of them over the years and they tear because the material is too thin; This bag is tough and should last much longer, I definitely recommend
