Excellent product! Does most vehicles! Took me 2 minutes to program a chip key to my 07 pilot and 2 minutes to program a key fob to my 05 Colorado! The dealer wanted $400 for a key fob for my Colorado!! I bought 2 key fobs on Amazon and programmed them myself and saved $300. Highly recommend!!

Ordered another unit after the first one that was sent was used and broken (Amazon return label was inside the package). This one is at least not broke, but that is all. Will not program keys for a 2010 Chevy Equinox. Tech support sounds like a guy running it out of his living room. Unable to explain error messages on the unit. No troubleshooting docs available. Save yourself time and sanity and order a different product.

I have been pleasantly surprised at the number of vehicles this has been able to program keys for. Also I was not expecting the keyless entry keypad option to retrieve door codes, so I love that option! Tool is very easy to use and very convenient. Thanks to TOPDON for a great product!

Ordered it for my dad and he said it worked well, the only thing is you do need a laptop to install it so you need someone to help set it up. I did it for my dad because he is not tech savvy but overall not hard and easy to use

I received the Topdon T-Ninja 1000 promptly. Out of the box like any tool it needed an update for everything. The tool comes in a nice carrying case. This tool has a lot of potential. It is light and boots up quickly. Great for domestic and Asian vehicles. I can’t wait to see what other great tools Topdon brings to the market.

I only have a MAC and my work PC does not allow me to install software. You cannot use this unless you have a Windows computer to install software. Who still has a PC these days? Maybe my grandfather would have one. Who under 40 doesn't own Apple?

UPDATE: as of 21 July 2022 TOPDON has fixed the problem via a software update: I worked with them via e-mail, very helpful and very very fast to respond. GREAT customer service, I wish more manufacturers would be like them. 5 Stars.Original issue: After reading the IMMO PIN on a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee a 4-digit password is read. When i try to do any operation at all after that such as deleting keys, adding or remote learn, the programmer will auto-populate the same 4-digit code into an input screen, which is accepted. However the next step, actually programming a key comes back with "incorrect password". What is wrong?

I was able to program my 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander easily with this one, however, when I tried doing it to the 1998 Lexus, it says communication error and check the cable, nothing was wrong with the connection so that puzzled me.
