i have got this clamp and i have the others styles which i dont use including the bessy clamp,,,the other clamps cannot put enough pressure on what you are working on but the ratching action on this clamp is great,,,you can get plenty of pressure on the miter joint,,,,,trust me,,you will not be disappointed with this clamp for miter joints! All the negative comments are from people that don't know how to use the clamp....this is the best clamp you can buy
