Looks great.. but there is a catch -me ..
I have purchased several hundred dollars of Nomad gear with no.. zero.. nada hookups to speak of. The look is amazing and the riptide floating 125 casts exremely well. I am very pleased with my purchase but no fish to speak of makes me feel like the catch of the day.I will hopefully get a chance to upgrade my feedback and perspective after my next 3 day Socal fishing adventure. Two one day trips and multiple local outings have not been productive for my array of Nomad products..

Riptide rippin lips
Another winner from Nomad. You can use this lure as a jerkbait, walk the dog, or just a slow steady retrieve. I've always been a big fan of Yo Zuri lures but Nomad has them beat hands down

You can tell Nomad Design lures are crafted by experience
The Nomad Design Riptide and Madscad are the two best nomad lures that work best for me in Southern California. The Madscad is the go to but the riptide has a few great options my two favorites are the 125 fatso and 105 fast sink.

I bought nearly their entire line.
Color pattern & strong inline hooks.

Catches fish, but is not durable.
This lure gets bit, that’s for sure. However, the problem lies in the lure’s construction. I caught two smaller sized barracuda in Southern California with mine before one fish bit a chunk out of the top, making it useless. The plastic is very thin on this lure. A friend on my boat told me the same thing happened to him on another trip, and he pulled a Nomad Riptide out of his box with a similar bite out of it. I want to keep using this lure because I know it gets bit, but I don’t trust its construction so I won’t be buying any more.
