This is an excellent exhaust fan. This was used to replace an old contractor grade light fixture so the light was a nice feature, not necessary but good to have. The install was fairly straightforward and took about 2 hours, with help. It’s very very quiet so if you want noise, yes some people want a noisy fart fan, this won’t do. In fact if the light didn’t come on you probably would not notice it running.

I've had this installed for about a month now. It's super quiet, which I love. If you want a fan to drown out noise, this isn't it. But if you want quiet, this is the fan you want. It also works really well at keeping the bathroom from steaming up from a shower. The light is probably sufficient but I prefer it brighter so I also have a second light source.
