This is a terrific small office/home office telephone PBX solution providing you are prewired for the extensions home runned back to the PBX unit. I was as I was replacing a 30 year old AT&T Spirit system. This was truly plug and play. Plug the CO (incoming) lines into the CO jacks (it comes with the ability to take three incoming lines. You can add more with an additional card.) and the extensions into the extension jacks. Could not be easier. Programming is a different matter. There are three separate manuals -Installation, Features, and Operating. You need all three. Just take your time and read them. I did not have the PBX hooked up to a computer, so I had to do all the programming on the handset at extension 1. Not a problem really. It just takes a while. This system has way more features than I will ever use, but it will compete with the big boys feature for feature. The price point is great. I paid ten times for a comparable system in my office (I have this at home.) albeit with many more extensions and lines. Why just 4 stars? There is absolutely no phone customer support. You are on your own. If you get into trouble the only solution is to contact a local dealer and have them send out a technician at an hourly rate. Really? Not even some guy in India to help with a problem. Shame on you Panasonic. I did something that screwed up the programming on one of the extensions. I could not figure out what I had done, and the online support was of no help. I finally had to reset and start all over at the cost of several hours of frustration.That said, I love the system itself and would buy it again if I ever needed one, particularly now that I have spent the time with learning how to program it.

The items meet my expectations, however the price was a bit high.
