Is this comfortable to hold if you have very small hands?

I would say so. I bought it for a friend who has very young children and they were happy having a turn. I have medium sized hands (in rubber glove sizes) and it was lovely.

Its just the appearance of knit, not soft but pleasant to hold.

Does this have a warranty? Only used it twice. It charges, goes green but then doesn't heat.

I don't know the answer BUT if you bought it from Amazon, just use their returns/complaints procedure. Secondly, are you pressing the 'on switch' continuously for at least 2 or 3 seconds? It does take a couple of minutes to get hot but overall we are very pleased with this product and are sorry that you are having problems.
