My husband loves hot stuff so this was the best present he ever got.

This is super easy to make, fast, and fun. I started using peppers grown in the back yard after I ran out of this kit and the recopies are all you need (the secret spice isn't rally needed, you can use other spices, tomatoes, coconut, even curry). Probably the only thing you need to really remember is DO NOT touch your eyes after handling peppers, and even lips, wash hands before and after. If you like it hot, this is great. Fresh peppers taste fresher, but these dried ones are quite good also.

Absolutely love it, I bought it on sale for my bfs birthday and you definitely get a lot for your money even if it wasn't on sale. The appearance of everything just looks so fun. We haven't made any yet but we're excited to make and try them!

got this for my dad who loves hot sauces. he immediately when into the kitchen and started experimenting with all the different combinations. after he exhausted his supply from the kit he went out and got more of the ingredients. And honestly you can control the spiciness so if you want to get this kit to work your way up, its a great choiceso TL;DR great gift for someone who loves hot stuff

This is a great gift, and we had fun making the sauces. It includes ingredients and recipes for several different kinds of sauces, and you will be able to make at least two varieties with what is included. Before you begin, take time read through the recipes, and the instructions to make sure you know exactly what order you're going to do things in. After that it was relatively simple and enjoyable. The only comment I would have is that the quantity the recipe estimates you will yield, is less than what we actually got. They definitely underpromise and overdeliver. We ended up adding additional vinegar to our finished products, and ending up with at least double the amount of product we expected. The best part about this is that once you understand how to make the sauces, you can easily get your own supplies, or grow your own supplies, and tinker around with all sorts of great combinations.

We’ve tried other kits from this company and were always happy with them, so I gave my husband this one. He’s the guy who puts hot sauce on everything before he tastes it, even if it’s a new recipe, even if he’s never tried it and has no idea if he’d actually like the food I make on its own, but we’ve only had a couple fights about it so it’s fine, everything is fine. Except my cooking, but whatever. Anyway he LOVED the sauce from this kit and it was fun to do a little project together, so we ended up getting another one. But then it somehow became MY task, so I informed him that I wasn’t going to be making him his nuclear fire juice to ruin, I’m sorry “enhance,” every meal I make and that if he wanted his favorite hot sauce, he was on his own to make it. So we’re back to store-bought.
