Amazing!
We got the podee system for our twins at the our baby shower, and started using them when the babies were 4 weeks old. They have been a lifesaver! It gives me some sanity time while they are eating. While it does require a constant sucking, the twins caught on quickly and have adapted flawlessly. The biggest issue we have is that the twins do spit out the nipple and then cry for it to be placed in. I find this to be not the end of the world considering i don't have to hold each and feed, as this would take forever with two and while i do it on my own. I have read some of the reviews, where the parents have given the baby the bottle and gone back to bed themselves, I definitely advise against this. The bottles definitely help with the inconvenience of things, but you should never feed your child while they are lying down (these parent's didn't specify if their children were lying down or in a chair of sorts so I assume lying down). You also want to be around and aware if your child starts choking which has happened here..my daughter sometimes sucks to much to swallow and then its a whole bunch of coughing and I need to pick her up and pat her back. Plus when your child is done eating they still need to be burped or they may be in discomfort...while the Podee bottles help with gas it does not get rid of it completely. it did help with night time feeds as I took the babies out of their cribs and propped them up on my pregnancy pillow while they ate and I did lie down while they ate. The biggest issue that my twins now 4 months, are figureing out how to hold things grab things and they often grab the straw and pull it out of their mouths...and while they are getting better at putting things in their mouths they haven't quite mastered putting it back in after they pull the nipple out!! I absolutely recommend these to anyone who has multiples because the few moments of silence and sanity are the most wonderful thing! Definitely wonderful to be able to feed them while shopping or walking or in the car. I like that life doesn't have to stop because its time to feed the babies!

Total lifesaver, but it could use some tweaks
This thing is a total life saver but it could be better. Pros - it fits doc brown nipples and can be used to complete convert doc brown bottles! -it let's me eat when he eats (no more cooking a cold dinner for myself lol) -it does it job Cons -the nipple that comes with it is friggin impossible to get milk through..... My son still uses flow 1 nipples on regular bottles but we have to use flow 3 for this device. Easy fix though - it's bulky as crap and is not ideal for the diaper bag. The cords can come apart from the bases and cause some serious leaking.... Spoiled milk smell anyone? I would recommend home use only. Unless your going out to dinner and you'd like the hot meal that you just paid for to stay hot, just leave it at home. - assembly is pretty easy if your good at just figuring puzzles out on your own. The instructions that come with it you might as well throw out the window. They really don't explain anything and the diagram is confusing as crap because several of the pieces look similar from side (point of view they chose ugh) and they do not say hey this is part a,b,c and you should put it in this order..... Work on that Podee! .... You could do soooooo much better. But hey that's what YouTube is for right? Side note (not a pro or con): Before I bought it I went through the reviews and alot and I do mean a lot of people, mostly dad's lol, where complaining about how hard it is to clean. Well it's not really that hard if you are use to cleaning Doc Brown bottles or breast pump parts. Like seriously it's just a little tedious but not impossible and not rocket science.

Didnt work as well as I thought...
When I first seen this item I was so excited because it seemed like it would be an an answer to my prayers. After looking up all the wonderful reviews I was suprised when I actually got the product. It looks exactly like its pictured but it doesnt work as well as I thought. My son is 7 months old and when I gave this to him he sucked and sucked and slowly the formula finally came to the top and when it did it seemed like he had been sucking on it for about 3 minutes and still wasnt getting anything. I thought maybe I just didnt assemble it right so i took it all apart and redit it and I still got the same results. He ended up getting so frustrated with it that he just spit out the nipple and cried. Ive tried to use this about 4 or 5 times now and I think its time to call it quits. Its a great idea and Im not sure why it doesnt work for me but it didnt.

Good system but leaks
We bought a set of Podee system because of the positive reviews. So far we have tried it a few times, and the results are uneven. A couple of times the baby hang on to the nipple and ate 3-4 oz without any fuss. Most of the time, however, it got spitted out constantly. Our twins are two months old. I think when they are a little older the system will be much more useful. One problem with the system is that it leaks. First of all, if you shake it to mix formula you will get some leak. But this is a minor problem. It also leaks between the ring and the adapter when the babies suck the nipple, a far more annoying problem. We tried to different ways and tightness to screw on the adapter, and the problem persisted. Now we do find an interesting solution to the leak problem. We have some 4 oz Dr. Brown bottles, which are extremely nice. We also have some cheaper Evenflo 8 oz bottles. The Evenflo bottles also leak like hell, and the nipples suck (forgiving me for the pun). However, the Dr. Brown system fits Evenflo bottles perfectly, and it doesn't leak. So this is a great deal, as Evenflo bottles are much cheaper than Dr. Brown bottles. But there is something even better: The Evenflo cap ring, even though it leaks on its own bottle, does not leak on the Podee system! It screws on the Podee bottle perfectly, and fits the adapter flawlessly. You can shake the bottle to mix formula without having to worry about leaks. The Evenflo bottle comes with an additional cap to be placed on the nipple, which also serve perfectly as a nipple holder for the Podee system (you want this unless you prefer the nipple to dangle around and drip milk/formula everywhere).

Fantastic for moms on the go
As a single mom that does deliveries for a living, this was a game changer. No more messes and spills in the car. My daughter is nine months old and took to it very well. There was no learning curve. Just make sure you keep the tubes clean and it is a miracle product in my opinion. The bottles are good quality and they're not flimsy. The tubing is nice and thick and the nipples work fine. 10/10 would definitely recommend to any mom on the go. It even comes with brushes to keep the tubes clean!

Great feeding system for traveling! Worked great for my 4-7 month old daughter. Better for pacifier babies!
I purchased my first Podee bottle in 2008 for my daughter for our long road trips to visit family. Stopping to feed a baby with a peacefully, sleeping toddler in the car wasn't always ideal! I saw a few different versions of the "straw bottle" but settled on this one after reading reviews. I LOVED it for her! It worked like a charm. I put the nipple in her mouth and she would start sucking away. When it was done she would spit it out and fall back asleep. It was also handy to have at the pool so she could drink a bottle in her infant carrier while I was free to feed snacks to my energetic 2 year old. I recently purchased this two pack after having our 3rd baby. It did not work quite as well for him, so it clearly has something to do with baby personalities, etc. Specs: This does take a few seconds of sucking before milk gets up to the nipple, but once they have enough sucked, a small reserve of milk stays up in the nipple so it is readily available. If the baby quits sucking, the milk in the straw goes back in the bottle, but there is still some in the nipple to get them buy while it comes back up the straw. My daughter had no problem sucking for a few seconds and was patient for the milk to come. My son wanted the milk instantly and got frustrated when it wasn't there right away. He often spit it out before he could get any. Some parents state that they "prime" the straw/nipple by sucking some into the nipple first. I tried this with my son (formula "air"- GROSS!) but it still didn't seem to help much. There are 8 pieces to this bottle: the bottle, the short straw that goes in the bottle, a screw on ring, the straw connector that goes under the ring, the long outside straw, a twist on straw connector for the nipple ring, the nipple ring, and nipple. Quite a few pieces to keep track of and clean, but the bottle comes with a long handled brush to clean the straws, and once you know how it goes together, it doesn't take that much time at all. Age: My daughter was between 4-7 months when she used this. My son was around 3-4 months when I tried with him- he was more active with his hands and would smack it out of his mouth but not able to grab it and put it back in himself. Obviously, once they can hold a bottle on their own, this is not as effective or necessary. In my opinion, babies that are used to pacifiers will take these bottles better as they are used to "dry sucking" for periods of time anyway. That was a clear difference between my two children who used this. Price: Great price on Amazon and I have never seen these in a store. This two pack was almost the same price as buying just one, so I kept one and gave one to a friend with twins! For anyone who travels, or has mulitples and needs extra hands, these are definitely worth a try! And not too expensive even if they don't work for your baby.

LIFE SAVER!!!
This bottle I bought on a whim just to see if I would like it and my son would take it. We tried it at 2 months and he couldn't suck hard enough to get it out, but tried again at 3 months, and he did just fine. This bottle makes life so much easier. I can sit him down or lay him down and give him the bottle and he will hold the straw in place and feed himself. I know it says no feeding in a moving car, but you know what, when you are stuck in traffic and have a screaming baby, it makes life easy and quiet! When your little one needs to eat and you are getting ready for work, or cleaning the house, you don't have to stop for 30 minutes to feed them, they do it themselves! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this bottle. I have gotten one for every friend I have that is having or just had a baby, and I tell people about how amazing it is all the time. Now if they would come out with one that was a little bigger tubes so we can keep using it when we start thickening up his formula more we will be better! (Right now he is at 3 scoops of cereal with formual and it works great still)

Fantastic problem solver when feeding twins or on the go.
I call this my "TO GO " bottle, because it makes being on the move a bit easier. With twin babies and a 5 year old to take care of, sometimes you just need an extra set of hands. THESE ARE IT! Works great. Both babies keep it in well when they are hungry. Still, if you have to pop it back in a few times, that is easier to do, than hand feeding two babies at once. I will say my first set was great..nice tubing etc.. I liked it so much I bought a second set. Well the tubing was different on second set and awful. It actually stuck to the plastic parts so much it broke it. I am in the process of returning that set, and ordering another. I PRAY I get the original tubing. It's a shame because its a great product, I hate to see it go cheap and become less effective. The only downside to this is all the parts to clean..and the not so great tubing..hopefully the set you order has the good tubes.
