Initially I thought it didn’t work, due to no sound, but realised that before you first use it, you need to turn the timer all the way to the left until it stops, then set the time to what you want. It should then ring when it gets to zero minutes!

It’s fine. Bell a bit quiet but OK

The fact is when you want to count 5 minutes only, it, not going to make any sound or ring so that you are aware is done those 5 minutes. For boiling eggs that is the most important but you have to stay next to it to watch when the 5 minutes are over

Simple mechanism that works perfectly. No batteries needed. Very attractive - looks great in the kitchen. Perfect!

This is a replacement as the original did not work - guess what? This does not work either. Have arranged a return via Amazon.

This is the second one I have received as the first one didn’t work. The white spot is hard to see so I had to make it bigger with a blob of white paint.

The ticking of the timer is very noisy. But it looks very cute on the shelf, and is accurate.

Wind it all the way up then set where you need of less than an hour. These are like wind up toys. Works perfectly every time

Ich wollte die Uhr eigentlich nur als Übergangslösung, weil meine eigentliche kaputt gegangen ist. Aber die Euleneieruhr ist so süß und wertig, dass sie ich sie jetzt fast täglich benutze. Die Oberfläche ist auch schön verarbeitet, top!
