Fantastic product for a specific user.
Adding that I have had this treadmill for a year and a half and use it 4-5 times a week and it continues to work perfectly. The 10 incline for speed walking is an excellent workout. I don't think heavy use for running is what this product is generally intended for. Like many buyers of this treadmill, I wanted something compact and moveable. This treadmill is both. It is also well-made and stable. I am a former runner with arthritis so I am now a incline speed walker. I wanted a treadmill with an incline to get a good walking workout. I am 5''5" and under 120lbs so this is a perfect product for a user of my profile. I think it would be fine for a lower-mileage runner (3-4 miles 4-5 times a week) within my size range. Someone over 6' would probably find it short; over 160lbs or so might find it a bit unstable for running but probably fine for walking. I LOVE IT. I will say that I do not use the class programing so can't rate that and it's not the best cushioning given how compact/moveable. But as a person with hip pain it still works fine for me(with good footwear). If you want something for low-impact use or great incline walking that is not a gigantic piece of equipment in your small space, I really recommend this. Great for the price.

Easy to setup, very smooth and sturdy
The box was delivered on time and placed in my house where I needed it. I opened the box and looked for the customery bag with screws, washers and instructions. Didn't find one. I did find a plastic bag with instructions, red safety device and an allen key. How do I assemble it? It is totally un-American and definitely not male to read the instructions. But I did. There is nothing to assemble. Stand the unit up, take off the plastic. Set the unit down and raise both arms until they lock. Raise the arm rest until they click. Raise the tablet holder and you are done. I took one star off for maneuverability because it is heavy and the wheels don't like carpet. My first walk was great. Very smooth, speed was responsive as was the incline. Much quieter than I thought it would be. Durability remains to be seen, but the construction leads me to believe it will be good. Since it is microprocessor controlled a surge protector is a good idea I'm 71 years old and was able to set it up, so it must be easy One month later and everything is great. It gets used 3 times a day. Very smooth acceleration and deceleration, still very quiet. Really enjoying using the treadmill About 2 weeks ago I started to hear a noise from the front of the machine that sounded like dry bearings. I took the front cover off and carefully removed the bearing shield. The bearing did not have much grease. I used an old syringe to inject synthetic grease into the bearing. If you try this do not use much grease. I replaced the bearing seal, it snaps back in place. I did the other side the same way. I made sure to wipe away any excess grease and double check that the bearing seals were in place. Ran the machine to max speed for 1 minute to distribute the grease. Put the cover back on. Now it runs smoothly with no bearing noise.

Decent treadmill horrible customer service
Loved this treadmill when we first purchased it last year. Easy set up and folds down flat is definitely a plus. Unfortunately I haven't really been able to use it for a while. It started randomly coming to a stop while I was on it, which is jarring and kind of dangerous depending on the speed. We contacted customer service and they initially thought it was a problem with the button panel so they sent us a replacement but that did not fix the problem. Once we were able to get video of the problem (difficult as it was happening randomly anywhere from 1 min to 40 min) we opened up a new customer service ticket on October 3rd. They told us the complaint has been "escalated" but we have not heard anything back. We've sent videos, serial numbers, receipts. Etc. We've been trying to follow up via phone and email but keep receiving the same response that the it is still in process. My husband even attempted to open a new ticket with customer service so someone would actually respond but it was almost immediately deleted from their system. It seems like we are being ghosted and how convenient as we bought it on November 1st of last year so technically we are outside of the year warranty now. I'm hoping leaving this review will catch the attention of someone from Echelon. If someone will actually communicate with us and offer to fix/replace the treadmill I will be happy to edit this review. As it stands right now I am a very unhappy customer.

So heavy
So first, this thing is crazy heavy. It claims its 156lbs, but it took both me and my husband to get it up the stairs. (He's a construction worker used to lifting heavy things, and he said never again. Guess it's staying if we ever move) If it had just been me, it would have stayed on the front porch. So definitely pay the extra to have it delivered to a room of your choice if you dont have any strong people handy to help out. Also definitely use the included straps if you plan on storing it standing up. This could kill someone if it fell on them, especially children. It is heavy to lift upright, and not stable at all. The treadmill otherwise is pretty nice. It goes up in small increments, so if you want to walk very slowly, you can. The incline capability is nice and also goes up in small increments. (I dont run because of my knees, so idk how good it is for full out running) My polar H10 heart rate monitor hooked up automatically, and there is a readout on the left for it. There's a calorie readout on the right, but really those things are just a guess. There was a huge sticker on it saying you need the app for this to work, that was bull, it works without one just fine. It comes with a free month trial, but I dont really want to use that, so I don't know if that's any good. I just wanted a basic treadmill with a few extras, and that what this is. Is it worth the price? Well, if it lasts for a decade like my last one (not echelon brand), then yes. Dont force the rails down when you store it, they are automatic after you push the red lever on the left. Just lean them over and gravity does the rest. Things I'm not a fan of: the only way to turn it off and on is a switch on the front bottom, where the cord plugs in. I wish it had a rest mode ot something on the display. Also, when you turn it on, it makes an ungodly noise very loudly through the speaker. It hurts my ears. I don't know why they decided that was a good choice. Its a solid four star treadmill. If anything should change about that I will update my review.

Great delivery and just what I wanted
I did a lot of researching of treadmills before choosing this one. I did not want one of the screens with fancy programs but did want a sturdy treadmill. I love the screen on this as it has just the info I need. The tablet holder works great for my laptop and if you want to use their app for workouts I'm sure it would be great with a tablet. The phone and cup holder work well. Another reason I chose this one was so I could fold it up if needed, it is easy to do and I like how narrow it is when folded. It is pretty quiet except for the loud beep when you turn it on. The treadmill seems sturdy and is easy to get going on. There are preset programs, but I am just doing things manually. Very easy to change speed and the incline with the buttons on the handle. The delivery and set up was a breeze. They very nice delivery folks brought it into our room - with getting the inside delivery. Essentially no set up, just had to get it out of the box. Very glad I chose this one, was exactly what I wanted and I've used it every day since I got it.

LOVE THIS THING!
Alright, to be totally honest, I hate running on a treadmills. Like legitimately, it is my favorite nonpreferred activity. All that aside, this treadmill met every one of my criteria when looking for a new one. The simple fact that I can fold a full function treadmill flat and store it against the wall in my office is by far the biggest selling point for me. I did A LOT of research. I looked at Nordictrack, Proform, Sole, Horizon, and Peloton, but my biggest gripe is that they ALL took up so much friggin' space, even if they folded. Now don't get me wrong, the Stride interface is a very basic since it was designed to be used with the app (keep reading for more on this). However, please don't let that be a deterrent because it definitely can hold its own when put through it's paces. I am 6'3" and 170 lbs and have a very long stride. Although, the track for this treadmill is a little bit shorter, I don't feel limited at all. The acceleration feels sluggish at times when changing speeds, but I think that is an even trade when I consider the compact nature of the treadmill. The incline feature is clutch in my opinion too. Both speed and incline are easy adjusted using the handle bar controls. I also didn't buy the Echelon app membership since its not required when you purchase through Amazon. I actually use the Peloton app when I run simply because it is cheaper. Perhaps if Echelon comes up with a $9.99/month subscription like I get through Peloton I'd switch. Definitely not bashing on Echelon, just like the lower price point of the other app. Overall, I love this treadmill and think that if you're looking for one that has all the function of a regular treadmill, but also don't want it to take up too much space, this is the one for you.

Echelon Stride Standing Desk
Buying a treadmill was a consuming process. So many reviews which are mostly intended for marathoners. I am a normal human who sits on my bum all day then tries to make up for it by going on an occasional short-distance walk or jog. My fast running pace is like 10 min/mi. The Stride is perfect for my needs: fits small space, easy to fold, good for walking/jogging, can be used as desk. I'm 5'6" and my partner is 6'. We are both comfortable walking and jogging. The length and width of the belt are great. The treadmill is lovely to use without an iPad or iPhone. However, connecting a phone or tablet really levels up the Stride. We both have Apple watches and like to track our activity. We connected the Echlon App on our iPad to Strava so our Apple Activity rings update. The guided workouts have been nice so far. The trainers push me and the music keeps me moving. I bought a treadmill desktop attachment so we can walk while we work. We're tallish people so I added a laptop stand to raise my screen to eye level. Our home office is small. The Stride is quiet enough that it doesn't bother my husband if I walk while he's on a video call. I debated ordering through Amazon vs Echlon. Amazon had it in stock and prime delivery vs waiting a few weeks with Echlon. The delivery experience was great. Treadmill arrived in perfect condition. No setup really, just moving it and taking off the plastic. Overall I'm really happy with this purchase.

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!
When the treadmill initially arrived it seemed like a great purchase. Set up was easy, instructions were clear, etc. We used the treadmill twice with no issues. After that, the treadmill basically died on us. When we switched the power on the screen would light up, but it wouldn’t do anything else. We tried pushing the buttons on the handles, tapping the ones on the screen display, and nothing happened. The “Program” and “Mode” buttons didn’t do anything at any point since it arrived. Additionally, it seemed as if the motor just quit altogether, since the belt wouldn’t budge. Literally nothing would work except the screen turning on. We contacted Echelon directly seeking technical support which was a complete waste of time. They sent a replacement power cord which didn’t fix the issue. They then told us that if we wanted to return it we had to pay the restocking/shipping fees and send it in the original packaging. Obviously we didn’t keep the original box because we thought everything was good. We are now stock with a $1200 treadmill that doesn’t work, we can’t return and we can’t fix. So overall this was a very disappointing purchase for us and even more disappointing tech support from the Echelon company as a whole.

Unboxing was incredibly easy
We bought this treadmill because it can fold flat. I must say, I did not expect the unboxing of the product to go so smoothly. I unboxed it by myself, and it took less than 15 minutes before I could go for a run on the treadmill. Good job to the designers and engineers on this one. The maximum running speed is WAY past what I normally run at. That's good because I was afraid about this, specifically with foldable treadmills. Also, I'm 6'2, and there's plenty of space for me to run lengthwise. Other than that, the design is quite nice, and it runs very silently. I'm very happy (for now) about my purchase. Would recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic experience
Delivery was earlier than scheduled, and to the location I chose in my apartment. Unpacking and setting it took few minutes. The instruction manual is brief and useful. The machine is elegant, I put it in the living room, and it’s material are rich. The machine is a full-size compact foldable very quite treadmill that suits nicely in my apartment. Myself and my wife are 55 years old and we are very happy with it.

Great so far, shipping was a breeze
Edit: it lasted 3 months and is now making a cranking noise like the motor is broken. Save your money and buy another brand, the customer service is terrible and now I’m stuck with an overpriced piece of trash I’m not strong enough to carry to the dumpster I was hesitant to buy this because of the reviews that said it was a little rickety and the motor was too weak but I desperately need every inch of space I can get. I had previously purchased a cheaper GoPlus for my tiny apartment which broke within the year so perhaps my standards are a bit low in the treadmill market lol. I am thrilled with this purchase so far; the machine is beautiful, smooth, quiet (except for the startup beep) and handles increasing speeds and inclines seamlessly. I use the treadmill daily so I don’t bother to fold it up but I did just to see how easily it could be tucked away. It was relatively easy to move around but it takes bit of strength. A note about delivery: I had been debating paying for the $100 delivery and installation option from Echelon but delivery times weren’t guaranteed and Amazon indicated they offered a next day scheduled service. It states that the machine would be delivered to the first door inside and I live on the second floor of an apartment building so I was worried about who would help me get it up the stairs. The two men who delivered it from Amazon brought it up the stairs and right into my apartment and I was happy to tip them for doing so because I’m hindsight, it was a poor choice to think myself and someone else could do it. Overall I’m super impressed with both Amazon and Echelon and I hope the machine lasts me many years

Je l’ai depuis le mois de janvier 2023 et je l’utilise 5 fois semaine tant pour la marche que pour la course et je l’adore! Silencieux et de très bonne qualité. Se range facilement en plus!

Box and treadmill received was damaged
Received this today, the box was significantly damaged and the delivery people said the treadmill looked ok. After unboxing and setting it up, the right side deck was cracked. I tested the treadmill and seemed to work but there was a constant noise as the belt went around. I don't know if its related to the damage but I will be asking for a replacement. Will update once Amazon gets back to me. I don't have an opinion on the treadmills performance as of yet.
