Great Suitcase For The Money!!!
The Samsonite Freeform Carry-On Spinner is an excellent suitcase that combines lightweight design, smooth mobility, and practical storage in a compact carry-on size. One of its biggest strengths is how light it feels, making it easy to lift into overhead bins and transport through airports without adding unnecessary weight to your trip. The spinner wheels roll effortlessly in every direction, allowing the suitcase to glide smoothly across airport terminals, hotel lobbies, and sidewalks. Even when fully packed, it remains easy to maneuver and requires very little effort to push or pull. Its compact size is another major advantage. The Freeform fits comfortably in most airline overhead compartments while still providing plenty of packing space for clothing, shoes, and travel essentials. The expandable design offers additional room when needed, making it a great choice for both short weekend trips and longer vacations. The durable hard-shell exterior helps protect belongings during travel, and the built-in TSA-approved lock adds extra security and peace of mind. Combined with its sleek appearance and reliable performance, the Freeform is a carry-on that delivers outstanding value.

Lightweight, Durable, and Perfect for Travel.
I’ve used several carry-on suitcases over the years, and this one has quickly become one of my favorites. It’s surprisingly lightweight while still feeling sturdy and well made. The spinner wheels glide smoothly through airports, making it easy to maneuver even when fully packed. The hard shell provides good protection, and the interior is thoughtfully designed with compartments and straps that help keep everything organized. It fits plenty of clothing for a short trip while still meeting carry-on size requirements. The telescoping handle feels solid, and the overall quality reflects the Samsonite name. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, stylish, and durable carry-on suitcase.

Sturdy and easy to pack! Happy!
I bought this suitcase to replace my red soft sided Samsonite. I wanted to try out a hard sided case, and I researched hard sided cases thoroughly, along with the newer soft sided ones just to compare. I didn’t see anything superior with soft sided, although I do have a newer 20” purple TravelPro that I adore. Ultimately I was between this one, the Amazon basics hardside, Delsey Chatelet, and Samsonite Omni PC and Winfield 2. This one was rated in most top 5’s. The suitcase rated best on most lists was the hardside models from the company Away, but they are above my price range. I also read the reviews here on Amazon. The Omni PC and Winfield are both beautiful, but the Omni has an inferior plastic top handle that breaks easily, and the Winfield’s glossy case seems to scratch easily. I ultimately decided on this one due to color and pricing. The Amazon basics suitcase is rated well for the price, but unfortunately I really don’t like the looks of it. The Delsey Chatelet is gorgeous, but has limited color choices and is slightly pricier. I also considered the Delsey Paris Helium Air and TravelPro Maxlite Air, which are great looking, but both were not rated well, mostly for sturdiness issues. I loved this suitcase when it came! I like that the shell is matte, and shouldn’t scratch, and the whole shell is sturdy, has lots of pockets and we’ll working zippers, expands, and has a TSA lock. Empty it was very light and the wheels maneuvered easily and seemed sturdy. Packing this thing is awesome to me in comparison to my soft shells. It does need to open completely flat to access both sides, but I didn’t mind that at all throughout my trip. It’s so easy with the two sides - I put clothing in packing cubes in one side, and care case and all other items in the other half. One half zips close completely with a material cover, and the other has the standard suitcase clips. It also has a few different pockets. I was able to fit everything I needed with ease for a 7-day trip. It doesn’t flex quite as much as a soft shell, but I actually found that to be an advantage - it doesn’t allow you to overpack. I checked this suitcase round trip on a weeklong trip to Florida, and it held up beautifully. I didn’t notice any damage to the case, and it’s so light and easy to maneuver. It rolled with ease in the airport and out on the street. It goes up curbs without a hitch, and is easy on escalators. It has a sturdy handle on top and on the side. Zippers are holding up great so far. I can’t see myself buying another soft sided suitcase if this holds up for awhile. I love it!! The only thing I can’t rate it on is longevity, as I’ve only taken it on one trip. I’d like to say “I’ll update if this review changes, but we all know that won’t happen!” :)

Great pair of suitcases!
So far so good. I took these on a trip to Grand Cayman. They were packed heavily and fit everything I needed to bring. The zippers work smoothly. They rolled with ease through the airport and in the pavement. At the end of my trip there was no damage and only a few light scratches.. Very sturdy. Looking forward to traveling with them again.

Nice set- large checked bag is over the standard 62 inches so may incur fees
I got this set without realizing that the large checked bag was over the 62 inch linear size accepted as standard by most airlines to not incur oversized fees. Fortunately it wasn’t an issue the first time I used it, but now that I know I’m concerned that I’ll be charged on my next trip. My fault for not knowing wheels counted on checked bags. The medium sized checked bag (not a part of this set) has dimensions that will work so I’ll most likely end up getting that one too. Cases are nice and sturdy and the wheels swivel well. You have to go online for instructions to learn how to reset the locks, wasted time hunting around for instructions that weren’t included.

Great, but comes locked with no directions!
Fresh out of the box, the suitcase was locked and there were no directions for how to get it open, as well as no key. I looked over the tags and the box MULTIPLE times. I thought I would have to return it, since I was clearly missing something, but then I Googled what to do, and was then easily able to open it. I do not know why these directions were not included with my purchase, but it is an easy Google (but still, no key). The size is great and I like the internal compartments!

Great suitcase.
Great size. The only small drawback is that if your top bag that you attach to the handle is too heavy the wheels don’t roll well over carpet. That’s mostly just physics and not the bags fault. But thought I would note it. This suitcase has survived being accidentally dropped and rolling down 2 flights of stairs while fully packed. I only do carry on and with compression bags and smart packing can go overseas for two weeks with only this and a personal item carry on. Loved it so much I bought this for my parents.

Good while it lasted, about 6 years
I've been around with this luggage, traveling many times a year for about 6 years. Some years I flew 3 times, others up to 8 times. I load up this luggage with over 40 pounds of stuff each time, so it's always heavy. It rolled just fine, the telescoping handle is fine, the other handles are fine (but could be a bit wider and rounder), and the interior organization with large compartments (with a few zippered pockets) works for me. It's expected for luggage to get scuffed and dirty each time it flies, and this happened to this one too, which is not a problem. But it does have a design feature that failed for me, over time. The way the zipper latches, it has rings on each zipper tab that pop into the lock, and the lock holds the rings. Over time, the zipper tab rings became bent slightly, then more, and eventually the rings became so bent they cracked at about year 6. Being bent and cracked, they no longer lock. I attribute this failure to two things: The zipper handle tabs sticking out from the surface (becoming a catch point), and the amount of weight I put into the luggage. This likely caused the zipper handles to rub and catch on things while being loaded by airlines, and maybe also in the automated luggage handling conveyor systems for baggage claim. I would call this a "medium" priced luggage, considering luggage does get somewhat cheaper, but also much much more expensive (some brands get many hundreds to over a thousand dollars!). If this luggage was used rarely, it would probably last much longer. But if you need something for travel every week, and make this heavy, it may not last that long. I have another size of this model luggage that I load up with only a few pounds of stuff, and it's doing just fine. I've had no other problems with this luggage, and it's been around. For the life I've gotten out of it, it could be considered worth it, although I have high and long-term expectations for all my stuff. Samsonite makes many different styles and colors of luggage with different latching mechanisms. I don't know if any of the others would be more or less reliable.

Perfect IF only it was dirt proof. Lol
I love this set and I love white but then obviously it easily gets dirty. Would’ve been perfect if it’s dirt proof. Lol kidding aside, durability and baggage capacity is superb.

Worth every penny
Samsonite cabin luggage honestly one of the best travel purchases I’ve made. The suitcase feels sturdy without being too heavy, and the spinner wheels glide smoothly even through crowded airports. The handle is solid, the zippers feel premium, and the interior has enough compartments to keep everything organized.Love the colour
