SpeckProducts GemShell iPhone 12 Pro Max Case, Clear/Clear, 137610-5085

The case fits my new iPhone 12 pro max snuggly and seems like it would provide adequate protection. Since the phone is brand new, I’ve been extra careful so I don’t know how much protection the case will provide if I dropped my phone. The buttons are almost impossible to push. It takes multiple attempts to successfully take a screenshot.Also, since COVID-19 hit, whenever I return home, I spray the front and the back of my phone with 70-91% alcohol. I’ve been doing this for months, and it’s NEVER caused an issue with my Casemate case that I had on my old iPhone 8 Plus; that case has remained clear, shiny and smooth. I just sprayed this Speck case, and now it’s permanently cloudy and feels rough to the touch. I understand that this case is a lot less expensive than my old Casemate one, but this is ridiculous.

The case fits well. It’s definitely clear enough to show off your shiny new iPhone. However, the grips aren’t very grippy at all. I’ve been buying Speck grip cases exclusively for many years and have loved them all. The clear version did not live up to my expectations set by previous cases.

I like the look of the case in that it allows the full look of the phone to show through. I also like that you can see the stainless steel sides in this case. However, that's a bit of the downfall of the case in my opinion. While it's nice to see the phone, there are no grippy sides to this case so it's a bit slippery in the hand. It's a very smooth case which feels nice but doesn't really give confidence to hold such a large phone.

I’ve had Speck case for all of my iPhones and loved it. This clear case, has no grip, the buttons have stuff written on them on/off CHINA, volume PAT... looks so cheapMy biggest problem is the buttons are not easy to use. The buttons won’t work very well and I have to push so hard and fingers slip on it. Extremely disappointing.. sending right back😢

This is an ill-fitting case for the iPhone 12 Pro Max. When I installed the case the first thing I noticed (and the deal breaker) was the fact the buttons on the case didn’t easily depress the buttons on the iPhone. In fact, there were times were the button on the case didn’t even make contact with the iPhone. I ended up buying by clear case made by Apple and it fits like a glove. I recommend that this Speck case be avoided.

overall disappointed with this case. It is slippery and makes it very hard to push the side buttons.

I’ve purchased speck products before and they used to be good and durable, Out Of the box! The case was upside down, I was like ok you had one job, no prob, but I opened it and it had smudges like some one was touching it, I guess that’s why it was upside down, and it had a crack, like not even unused and I know it’s going to break. Amazon is not giving me an option to send it back but I will buy another brand, I find a way to get my money back. Btw, I cleaned it, the case is a fingerprint magnet.

Premetto che da quando è uscito iPhone 12 Pro Max ho cercato di provare e testare ogni cover “importante” per il suddetto dispositivo, incuriosito dal nome e dalla descrizione ho deciso di acquistare la Speck... la cover non è grippata, è di plastica rigida molto spessa e resistente ma assolutamente scivolosa, il grado di protezione è ottimo ma non rappresenta assolutamente la descrizione in cui viene rappresentata. Facedown ottimo, bordi rialzati e protezione e delle fotocamere, purtroppo ti scivola dalla mani da solaMi dispiace tantissimo ma ho fatto il reso

No funcionan los botones y la marca está en un lugar muy poco discreto considerando el diseño, lo único rescatable es que es un lindo color, definitivamente no es la calidad que estaba esperando de speck

Felt like I would be dropping it more than I’d be holding it. You would need Andre the giant hands to hold it properly.
