The best rice cooker for Thai jasmine rice.
This is the best rice cooker for Thai jasmine rice. 1. It has a simple water filling ratio (e.g., 10 cups of rice, add 10 cups of water), minimizing errors and speeding up the process, especially during busy times. It's also easy for staff to understand and use. 2. The rice after cooked is beautiful with separate grains, which I believe is how Thai jasmine rice should be cooked, just like in Thailand. And the leftover rice stored in the refrigerator can be used to make fried rice with beautifully separated grains that don't break easily. 3. However, the keep-warm mode doesn't seem to keep the rice very warm. 4. Overall, compared to the three larger rice cookers I've used in restaurants, this Panasonic is the best for Thai jasmine rice.

Our new go to rice pot
We live in Hawaii and rice is a staple for every meal. This rice pot is perfect for our party and gatherings. We can easily feed 200 people, cooking from the rice pot 3-4 times. I love it!

toughest and longest lasting
We have 8 of these. Use them 6 days a week making an average of about 4 batches a day. These are the only rice cookers that have been able to hold up to so much use. Cooks rice fast and good. Just make sure you have the rice / water ratio to your liking.

Stopped working after 2 months
It stopped boiling the water after only 2 months of using it. It's supposed to be a commercial rice cooker - I'm assuming it should be able to handle daily use.
