great deal overall!!!
This is probably the 7th RC helicopter I've purchased, and so far I am very happy. The truth is within product lines I've found there is great variability as so many of these are made with cheap labor and cheap parts. Of course, that's the trade-off for getting a RC-copter with a video camera for $60! I've been wanting something simple to fly indoors and take video, and this one (so far) has done the trick! I've purchased much larger copters with much better cameras but really only suited for outdoors. I also purchased a great quad-copter recently (paid around $190) and was able to mount a decent camera on it and this was pretty good for indoors. BUT if you don't want to spend a lot of money and want something to play around with in your living room (maybe chase your dog around with) this should do the trick! A few notes: - very easy to control - charged very quickly, about 10 minutes of flight - like all copters, these things are not built to fall from great heights too many times. If a beginner, start out low to ground because they will break easily and there are no replacement blades for this one (maybe you can find online?) - video camera did not turn on first try, but I turned copter on/off a few times and now it works fine (don't just give up and assume broken) Enjoy!

Nice toy but "Caution" required.
The helicopter worked great for a few hours until a crash landing. We lost a part off the top rotors and broke the landing gear. Without the part on the top rotor, the hellicopter was grounded until spare parts could be ordered. The connection buckle popped off and we could not find it in the yard. In short, played with it for a few hours on Chirstmas and had to wait a few days until replacement parts came in. Still have not had a chance to see how the toy holds up to children because of waiting for parts and rainly weather. - If this is your first helicopter, fly it outside "not a good in-door toy". Requires a lot of space to learn how to fly. - Order replacement part, "Replacement Connection Buckle" and "landing gear" to start.

Defective Transmitter
The helicopter works fine if it stays within about 5 feet of the transmitter. Once it is outside the 5 foot range, it shuts off, and falls to the ground (grass, in my case). The helicopter looks to be fairly well made, with a metal skeleton. The problems appears to be with the transmitter, which doesn't seem to be so well made. There isn't much else I can evaluate. I am investigating alternatives to this transmitter, it's uses a 27 mHz band, so there should be other solutions. I bought the heli to take aerial photos, and in addition to this heli, I bought an 808 key chain camera (< $20) and used it with another RC helicopter (one I already owned). This turned out to be a much better solution.

Short Flight Time
This should be so much better than it is. It's a solidly built little guy. Very handsome. Flight time is like 2-3 minutes though. Video quality surprisingly good. Worked just fine for me. You have to push the button on the transceiver to stop recording before turning the power off on the heli though. Shoots in AVI. Played just fine in QT on my mac. Gonna see what I can take off to reduce the weight of the thing but, seriously, you shouldn't have to D around like that.

Cheaply build but a lot of fun
This toy is a lot of fun. It is amazing that a complete flying functionality can be delivered in such a small and inexpensive package. Obviously, the camera is not the highest quality and the battery lasts only a few minutes, but if it crashes, the replacement parts are easily available from many dealers. That said, I found a few small irritating defects: the screw at the bottom of the antenna was loose (difficulty to screw the antenna in) and the blades of the power supply plug just fell out (fortunately, I'm using a different charger anyway).

RC Helicopter is fine - but SD card advertised as included was mssing
I purchased this RC helicopter as a gift, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but from what I can tell it seems to work fine. My only complaint is that it was advertised as including an SD card for the camera and it was NOT included. Since was already played with (and crashed a couple of times) before we noticed the SD card was missing, I opted not to return it, but am a little annoyed that we will have to try to locate and buy an SD card for it separately when I intentionally bought this model because it was supposed to be included.

don't buy it
The product has an attractive look. When I put the batteries in the control device it lights up. Sorry that's as exciting as it gets. Nothing else whirrs, or blinks, or works. I would add that the device, when closely inspected, has a flimsy appearance. Also the translation of the product use etc. is understandable, but crude and often misworded. Oh, I didn't want to enter any stars because it just doesn't work. Don't buy this product.
