Motive Products 1107 Adapter

Quality hardware. Fit is good with no leaks. Used on Japanese cars. Extra o-ring and bleed tube. All Motive Products pieces work well. It is plastic but is a reduced price compared to the better anodised Euro bleed cap. Highly recommended as a cheaper alternative. A proper box to hold all the different caps, bleed bottles and tubing along with hand pump would be handy

Fits tightly on a 2004 Subaru Forester with the 2.5 sohc engine. I used the thinner of the two o-rings and while the cap was snug on the master cylinder, it wasn't hard to get on. After putting the cap on, I pressurized the bleeder to 10 psi (no fluid in it) and it held with no leaks.

Product works well on Hyundai and Mitsubishi brake reservoir, using a 3 tab cap. Provided in the kit was a thinner O rings which fits snugly to the brake reservoir, creating a good seal.Do note brake fluid will leak from the brass fitting, some PTFE tape will seal it as prescribed by Motive Products FAQ page.The additional 6” tube was simply too short to do anything neatly at the bleed nipple end.

I used this tool to bleed breaks and clutch on a 2.5 sohc Outback. It screws tightly on the master cylinder and makes bleeding brakes an easy one man job. The male part of the cap also fits snugly into the clutch master cylinder. It does not thread onto the clutch master cylinder but does hold pressure when clamped in place with a c clamp. I bought this to work with a DIY brake pressure bleeder made out of a garden sprayer. (see youtube for how to's) The fitting on this adapter fits a standard brass 1/4 female barbed fitting if you are making your own.
