All I have to do is set the BT volume on the tablet to FULL. If a user is using a regular receiver or integrated amplifier, you probably will have the BT set to only 50% of the volume, since the built-in preamplifier in your receiver/amp will amplify the sound to necessary volume. Connection is stable and I have tried to connect to this unit via the Samsung Tab A from 2 floors up. My listening room is in the basement. I have to be on the stairs between first and second floor to get a connection. Had some friends over and pairing was very simple. Though they are now music enthusiasts like me, they were amazed to hear how their Spotify music sounds in a dedicated listening room. I could not do this previously since my system is passive and lacked a BT receiver. Soundwise, it sounds phenomenal for a BT Receiver.
