Great for Online Meetings and Instructional Videos!
I'm an animation professor and because I have to move around during lectures and demos (between two monitors as a 2D animator, and occasionally to use stop motion equipment) I can't work with a fixed mic. Awhile back I bought a gamer headset/mic combo and while it does work, it hurts my ears and jaw after awhile. I wanted to try and find something lighter, so I switched to the Lapel mic. It's been great!! Sound is clear, students tell me they can hear me better (and I've noticed the video recordings sound better, too). The one thing I would warn about is for Mac users, you may need to buy an extra USB attachment to make sure the mic gets 'heard' on the computer. At first I thought it was working but sounded like crap (it wasn't the lapel mic! It was because my regular laptop mic was the one picking up the sound. I realized when I was testing it, walking to and from the computer). You can get the USB port for this headset with this same company, and it comes with a Mic and a Headset auxiliary port (also costs the same as a regular Aux splitter, which is what I was looking into when I first realized you wouldn't be able to hear anything from the speakers while using the mic in the Aux port at the same time - I work with visuals more than sound as you can see!). It's more of a Mac issue than an issue with the mic itself, Macs tend to need converters for everything! In the meantime I had my roommate test the mic on his Windows computer and it sounded great, so I waited for the USB converter to come in (it came very quickly!), tried it again and it worked! Overall I love it. Very light, easy to use (the most you'll have to do is go into your sound settings and set the mic (and headset if you're using one) to the USB and you're good to go. It also comes with an extension cable which can reach pretty far! I haven't started the stop motion tutorials with it but I was able to walk across my office with it so I don't think it'll have trouble being long enough. TLDR: Love it! If you have a Mac and the mic doesn't seem to work at first you may need the USB connector, otherwise you can just plug it into the Aux connector.

HIGH QUALITY sound at a low price point
I've been dealing with a crappy lapel mic for some time that had a really thin wire. Every time I used it, the subject's movements would be picked up by the wire, and I had to resort to using a condenser mic placed within a couple feet, then adjust my shots so that the mic didn't get picked up. Holy cow, what a hassle. And then, the heavens parted and light from God above shone down to reveal this PowerDeWise lapel mic. At $40, I figured I had nothing to lose; if it didn't work, I could always return it. It worked. And man, it worked VERY WELL. Featuring plug-in power so that you can use it while connected to your cell phone, tablet, or laptop, the output on this mic is at a high level with clean audio and very nice noise reduction. I've been able to get great speaking audio out of this mic, and with the 4-pin to 3-pin adapter, I can use it with a wireless transmitter/receiver set to connect to an audio recorder or mixing board. I'm waiting on an XLR-to-3.5mm adapter that transforms from Phantom power to plug-in power so that I can use it directly with the audio recorder and bypass the wireless transmitter, but those ones I've been recommended are on backorder. So hopefully those will work just fine. The 6-foot cable length is perfect for my own personal podcast recording, and the included 6-foot extension cable is a nice addition. They could have easily packaged that separately and charged more for it, but it's wonderful that they included it here. I bought one for my own personal use, and a few days later, bought a second for my professional job. At $40, you simply cannot go wrong with this, especially if you're looking for something solid that you can use in quick and easy applications. Highly recommended.

My Review on the PowerDeWise Microphone
I really love this microphone! Good quality, reasonable price, and many accessories. The package looked and felt really nice. The material and texture of the box felt like royalty to me. Ok enough about the outside of the box. Time for the inside of the box. The inside of the box comes with more than just the microphone. There's the included extension cord, which is very useful if your camera is on a tripod and you need to be a certain distance away from it. Along with that comes with spare mic muffs, an adapter for specific devices like cameras, or maybe even some smartphones. "But wait! There's more!" PowerDeWise gives you what's called a screen clean sticker, which cleans your phone, camera, or even your glasses, and you can stick on the back of your phone. What's the best part? It's reusable! Finally, the rest of the package comes with a 1 year warranty card, and a quick guide on your mic and where to contact the team. And now, my review on the mic itself. So why do I give this 4 stars? Well it's just on one small issue: noise cancellation. First and foremost, the quality is great. When I tested it, my voice sounded crystal clear. Let's clarify that my first test was when the mic was clipped on my shirt. When I heard the recording, I could hear a bit of noise in the background. I compared the same test with my phone's mic. They almost sounded identical, except the mic had a little less noise, which is still really impressive. I think the problem is that I'm a tall person, so I'm assuming that the length from the shirt to the mouth would be longer for tall people, then for shorter people. I hope everyone understands what I'm saying at thus point. My second test was when I held the mic instead of having it clipped to my shirt. I'd say it was about 4 inches away from me. The result: NO BACKGROUND NOISES AT ALL!! It sounded amazing! In conclusion, I don't know exactly what the issue is with the noise cancellation, but hopefully my hypothesis (or theory if you would like to call it that) made sense. Basically if you want no noise in your recording, just hold the microphone closer instead of clipping it. I wish I could give this a 4.5/5 because the noise cancellation does work, but Amazon only allows customers to rate whole values. Overall, great microphone! Good job, PowerDeWise! 🖒

WATCH OUT FOR THE COUNTERFEIT, REAL ONE WORKED FLAWLESSLY
Bought this mic twice. Once from the counterfeit seller and another from PowerDeWise. When I got the first one, it came in a bag and not a box. Then I tried it and it didn't work in my MacBook. So I sent it back and received a refund. Now it was time to write a negative review. But looking at the website, I purchased a counterfeit (see pictures, even the logo is a poor copy/paste). I purchased this item again, this time knowing it was sold by the PowerDeWise company. Worked perfectly. I did some test trials before uploading my videos. The sound is absolutely clear and so much better than the onboard microphone. It worked flawlessly and the sound is great. So the fake mic didn't work, the clip doesn't rotate, the bag was small for all the stuff needed and it didn't come in a box. The real one worked, the clip rotates, the case is large enough for all the stuff and put in a nice box. The second one was real sold by PowerDeWise and came in the box as illustrated. The sound quality is excellent and captures a bit of the bass in my voice. Crisp and clean. The hardware is sturdy and even the bag is nice. This is a great purchase and makes the sound on the videos outstanding.

Excellent sound quality, construction and attention to detail
This product has a great mic. It is omnidirectional and picks up sound very clearly. The cable and construction are as good as any and better than most. The microphone comes with a 6.5' cable as well as an extension cable of another 6.5 feet. Unlike most products that come with cheap wire ties, this comes with reusable Velcro ties with a support #! I did have to request support - because I didn't understand the Digital Voice recorder I was using - and they responded quickly and even did research on my third party voice recorder! The package comes with a case, 3 total wind guards for the mic as well as an adapter to go from the 4 pin to 3 pin. 4 pins are typical of cell phones where you can use an inline controller to change volume, stop and start, etc. My digital voice recorder is a three pin. I initially was like, well now I have to go get this adapter. But as I was looking through everything it came with - they thought of that! They couldn't have been friendlier either. At one point we thought that the digital recorder required a power mic. They offered to give me a full refund and let me keep the MIC! We eventually figured out how to get it to work - the Digital Voice recorder needs much better documentation, and now I am recording excellent audio and could not be happier with the product. I will recommend and purchase their products again.

not quite professional quality
ok they claim professional quality and this thing has so many good reviews but sound quality is just ok, it sounds a bit muffled and it picks up a bit more background noise too. my voice sounds allot more deep with this microphone, it really picks up the low end nice but some of the higher vocal tones do not get picked up well so its a little muffled, i spent about 2 hours playing with my recording software and the placement of this microphone trying to get a really clear recording out of it but its not juts happening. overall it sounds ok, its not a bad microphone at all but its not professional quality like they claim. ill go back to using my headset to record my audio as it sound clearer overall. i made a couple recordings of this and my old microphone and everyone i played it for liked the sound of the mic on my headset a lot better and they all agree its less muffled than this thing. i got some really nice microphones for singing/live music and those things sound killer, those are professional quality but this thing is just so so, if you need a mic on a budget it will do but there are much more professional sound microphones out there.

Quality is way better than the price suggests
I needed a mic for my iPhone for an instructional video I had to create. Problem was, I didn't have the budget for a $100+ mic to do it. A search on Amazon brought this one to my attention, and the reviews and $22 price tag convinced me to give it a try. After all, I was only recording speech. First, it comes in a nice box, so it's protected during shipping. Secondly, it also comes in a sweet neoprene pouch, which is key to keeping it all nice and tidy and not ending up a tangled rat's nest of wire. And it also comes with plenty of extension cable if you need it. At first, I was afraid it wouldn't work because it has the 3.5mm plug and I have an iPhone 7s, where Apple decided that I really didn't want a headphone jack so they graciously removed it for me. But then I actually read the instruction pamphlet and it said it works with the Lightning-to-3.5mm dongle, so phew. I have to say, I was completely surprised by the audio quality. I work in professional live sound, so I've worked with $300 lavaliers and headworn mics. While this one isn't quite there, it's also only $22 and sounds as good as some $100 lavs I've worked with. Bottom line - extremely happy with this one and definitely recommend it. I will be ordering a second one and also the 3.5mm-to-xlr adapters so that I can also use them with my Focusrite interface for recording interviews, and also with the Zoom I'm going to pick up in a couple of months.

Dead on arrival - UPDATED: POWER IS REQUIRED
I have a lapel mic that requires a battery. I bought this one because no battery is needed. I tested this mic with my recorder as soon as it arrived, and it recorded nothing but static. I realized that I needed to use the included 4 pin to 3 pin adapter that came with it for my recorder, so I attached the adapter. With the adapter the recording didn't even have static. Complete silence. I plugged up my old lapel mic to make sure the recorder was still functioning. The old mic worked as expected. I have already initiated a return with Amazon. -------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE 1: I began to wonder if this mic requires power. I read the product description again on Amazon and confirmed that it said, "works without a battery." However, in the product information section it says, "Power Source: Corded Electric." I then looked over the packaging more closely and noticed that it says "Power: from device." I changed the settings in my recorder to enable power to the external mic and tested again. Worked this time! So, it's true that no battery is needed, but power is required. It seems to have very good audio quality. I changed my rating to 4 stars. I'm knocking off one star because they don't make it clear that this is a powered mic before purchase. I've decided to keep the mic and not return it. -------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE 2: I used the microphone over the weekend to record a very important event. The audio was superb... when it worked. Every few seconds there was really bad static, scratching, and popping. I know it's not a problem with the recorder because a different mic works just fine with it. What a disappointment. I suppose I should have tested it more thoroughly before using it for something important. I'm returning it after all. I just don't trust it at this point.

The complete package
You will get thea zipper pouch, cool magenta, microphone, extended caple, and the 4 pin to 3 pin adapter which was a life saver. I tried to conect the mic to my GoPro hero 9 throw the media mod but it didn't work then I bought another mic same problem. However I noticed there is adapter and there is a writing which said: 4 to 3PIN adapter for PC/laptop/camera/voice recorder. I used the adapter with my media mod and omg it worked. If only I noticed this adapter before buying another microphone 🤦♂️. So my rating is for good quality, packaging, and including an adapter and extended cable was a plus for sure.

Zeer voordelige lavalier mic

Also kein Rauschen kein verzerren kein extremen Bass. Twitch streaming. Edit. Aber nur 1 Jahr. Genau 1 Tag nach Garantie Ende. Zack kaputt. Kommt nur noch knacken und krächtsen raus

Clear sound even worn close under a mask
I needed a mic with a lead long enough to run up my top and under the mask I wear for streaming. Because it would be sitting fairly close to my mouth and under the mask, I was concerned it might sound boxed-in or muffled. Thankfully that hasn’t been the case. The muffler seems to do a good job and the audio comes through clearly. I’ve had no problems with it, and whenever I’ve asked a viewer to confirm the sound or listened back to a recording myself, it has sounded clear. I’d definitely recommend this if you need a mic positioned close to your mouth.
