They work
I have used these before and have worked fine. Unfortunately my neighbours have chickens and they throw their feed on the ground attracticting the rats, so I use quite frequent. I feel they do work, as they are in a bait box and it empties slowly. The rats work it out if there is more than one rat, so do be aware.

The rats keep eating it
On the plus side the rats are attracted to it so it is doing one part of its job. On the other side the rats keep taking it from inside the trap box and the trap doesn't go off. I can only hope the poison in the big cheese kills them because the Roshield traps don't seem to be sensitive enough to catch them

The rats weren't crazy about it and it took a long time to work
The rats avoided eating this for a long time, it wasn't until there was a rainstorm and they literally couldn't get anything else at all that they took it. It takes some time to work even after they begin eating it, at least a week. It does work eventually.
