Great Speaker
I've read that some people like these speakers and some not so much. I personally like them I have four pairs that I got for a great price. I use them through out my home and they work well for me. I added a subwoofer to add more bass but I would do that with most speakers. Give them a try you should be pleased.

Generally impressive, with some reservations
I auditioned these AmazonBasics speakers on an relatively-upscale Yamaha Aventage receiver in Pure Direct mode. On ear-level stands less than a foot from a back wall (w/ windows, blind closed), I was impressed with their performance: a relatively flat sound, fairly detailed, and with good bass extension, especially for their diminutive size. Though with a sensitivity of 80 dB, they did take a significant amount of power/volume to get on the louder side. Compared to the similarly-priced (and spec'd) Pioneer SP-BS22-LR, these Amazon Basics speakers were brighter and slightly leaner. While their higher-grade, removable grills and wooden sides gave the impression of quality, their grey vinyl-coated surfaces keep them from top consideration, looks-wise. Without 5-way binding posts, the use of banana plugs is impossible. Fortunately, the speakers feature factory-installed wall-hanging hardware, so they are a great choice for surround-sound duty in a home theater. (Hang them high to avoid head bumping!)Conclusion: These AmazonBasics speakers presented a solid overall first impression. But considering the abundance of cheap-looking vinyl, I would prefer they were priced a bit less.

Speakers great!!
A little weird to hook up. Never stripped speaker cable before but if you buy the banana connectors and speaker cable, you’re all set. They sound great with a good power amp.

Great speakers
My husband needed a new pair of replacement speakers to complete the surround sound system he has but what we didn't expect was the big clear sound we got from these small speakers. They almost seem to outperform the larger speakers in the room.

Not good
The top end is way too sharp, the midrange isn't tonally correct, and they lack bass. Micca MB42X and Edifier P17 are much better options.

Works well for me
Bought these speakers to act as satelites with use of my powered subwoofer connected to a 5.1 Yamaha receiver in my bedroom. Even though their power handling capability is lower than my receivers max out put, they work great at the volume level I'm using. I'm looking to fill a 10 X 13 foot not to entertain people going past my house, or others in my house for that matter. Happy with them and will probably buy more if the Dayton's I'm using for rear channel die

Not great
Looks great but it is a little flat sounding with limited bass and muddled mid range. Probably ok for a desktop computer but needs help for anything else.

Tres ventajas y 1desventaja
El imán de la bocina de media me sorprendió más de dos centímetros de ancho, un crossover de buena calidad y un Tweeter que se hace presente, el acabado tendría que decir "imitación madera" ya que es mdf, aún así la acústica es muy buena.
