Be sure that each plug has a dedicated breaker for optimal cooking conditions (see the website and read through the fine print as that is added haphazardly rather than being in plain sight as it should be since it's an important detail). I love the fact you can either set your pan to an exact temp or choose on a scale of 1-10 (FYI: 2 is perfect for cooking eggs just to give you an idea). Installation is a breeze... I literally just had to cut an opening, drop it in and run an extension cord to the proper outlets. Since there is no heat generated in the actual cooktop (you're using magnetic fields to move electrons in the pan to create heat IN the actual cookware) clean up is such a breeze since nothing gets burned onto the glass surface also making it super safe with kids around. Now I am trying to find out how to get the unit repaired under warranty and I am finding that they have no info on site on how to warranty the product.. Called main number and after 20 min of hold was told to submit and email with proof of purchase and they will see what they can do for me. On line registration said I would receive 2 year warranty for completing registration and now they say they will see what they can do for me after I email them my desertcart proof of purchase. Lets hope I get some results because customer service does not appear to be something they strive for. Update: After having to ship unit back to factory for warranty I finally received a replacement unit 3 and a half weeks later. Installed the replacement. It lasted all of 3 months before the single large burner side went out. Turned on burner, heard a pop about 5 seconds later and has not worked since. Not worth sending back again. Replaced with a wolf induction cooktop that works great. Don't waste your money on this. They work great and we found new joy in cooking with it. Also have a separate single induction for the teapot. Very poor quality. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Will never cook with gas (or electic) again! *by S***T on December 10, 2019* Bought this almost two years ago for a vacation home I am building. Still have not finished my cabin but use this at home on top of my existing stovetop (as it works as a counter top or built in unit). Much faster than gas or electric burning and can control the temp instantly. My only complaint (a minor one) is that I wish there was a control lock setting so that when you are cleaning you don't activate the touch controls. Not a huge issue as it will turn itself off if nothing is on the burner. I cook a lot nothing else give you the temp control of induction. If you do boil over a pot there is no mess because unlike electric glass tops the surface does not heat up and burn on food to the top. I used to hate cleaning electric glass tops and had to use a special cleaner with a lot of elbow grease.
