Epoxy works great.
I have been using Bob Smith products for many years. Their epoxy is one of the best for fabrication. I have seen some negative reviews, and would like to mention a few things to be aware of. Do not mix this in a very large quantity in a narrow container. Yes it will get quite hot and also set quicker. The mix is not real critical but should be very close to one to one. Stir well especially the slower 30 minute stuff. Stir for a couple of minutes. Use a shallow pan or dish. I use plastic condiment cups that hold about 2 ounces and are wide. I contacted the folks at BSI about shelf life. They said that the shelf life is 5 or more years. If it gets cloudy from absorbing moisture to micro wave for 15 seconds. Not sure I would try that. Another note. You can thin this a bit with denatured alcohol and use it to seal wood. I mix about 2 parts epoxy to one part alcohol and it is thin enough to brush, but will run a bit so maybe add a bit less alcohol. Stir well you will see the water released from the epoxy and it will go from cloudy to clear.

Great glue!...but not 30 min
5 stars might be heavy, but I wanted to make sure a reader knows off the bat that I love this product, and it was easier to work with than the Gorilla Glue syringes. The format is "two bottles...squeeze out the same amount from each bottle...by eyeball". The try part was easy (using it to glue T-tracks into a 3/4" workbench, where itty bitty 3/8" screws aren't strong enough on their own, given that the tracks are meant to stand up to strong pulling from a clamp). But, being "30-minute" epoxy, I splurted out a solid tablespoon of each, mixed it, and started working. After one 24' length + some nail polish remover cleanup of drips (5 minutes max), I went back to the mixture and it was too gummy/hard to work with! NOT 30 minutes of working time so I'm not sure what they're talking about. The fine print on the bottle essentially says,"the more you mix, the faster it sets"...but what's "too much"? Looks like it's somewhere below 1tbsp each. Being irritated I decided I'd send it back and run to Home Depot for more Gorilla syringes... but then decided to give it another try. I adjusted my method... used 3x5 cards... mixed about a quarter sized dollop of each bottle... mixed with little tongue depressors... applied it with the spatula end of one of those little red silicon glue applicators...and used every bit of the mix from the card. It went on smooth, it dried a little slower (maybe 7 minutes working time?) but I worked in little batches. It was smoother, less stinky, and easier to apply and clean up than Gorilla. I drilled and installed the little screws while it was wet so the screws would pick up some epoxy on the way in...and I wouldn't need to clamp it down until it dried. The dry t-tracks are in and not going anywhere. I tested it with a clamp and really wrenched it down (more than I ever would in an actual setting) and it didn't budge. I think the T-track would bend before the glue failed. Other reviewers say it lasts longer than Gorilla, which is another reason I decided to try it. Time will tell. Those two little bottles went a long way, and I was able to tackle the same amount as 3 or 4 syringes of Gorilla... so that's a big savings! I still have about 1/4 of the glue left in each bottle. High value. Just know that you need to mix in small batches, and it WILL get too gummy to work with after about 5 to 10 minutes. Oh... use painter's tape to mask the areas where it could schlop as you apply it. It cleans up easily with nail polish remover while it's still wet, but the tape saves the extra work if you're gluing a lot.

Extra working time, super strong bond
I really love this epoxy. It's perfect. It gives you a lot more time to work with your project before the epoxy sets, and then forms an incredibly strong bond. It's also way more convenient to use with a larger quantity of volume in reusable bottles, far easier and cheaper than the big box store little plunger epoxy products. You just can't go wrong with this stuff.

I use it for my fishing lures.
It works great as an epoxy to cover my fishing lures. Way better than the 5min stuff, but.... Buy a pack of cheap brushes. I mix my batches (equal parts) small enough to cover fishing lures. The working time is NOT exactly 30mins however. I'd say for sure, mix well for about one min. Then you have about 15mins to work with the mixture while it's smooth. After about 25 or 30 mins forget it. Also, couple tips: 1) I only mix and used this when I can been in a room at 70deg F. thats just how it goes for me. Colder than that sux for me. 2) I can sort of prolong the work time with a heat source like a heat gun (set on low)...sometimes at about the 15 to 20 min mark whilst working the epoxy...if I have to make a small adjustment. I hit it faintly with the heat source and he gives me a small window to correct a mistake. 3) some guys use a small rotating motor for a disco ball to auto rotate their lures (similar to a lath) but I just pinch the eye of my lure in a small pair of vice grips and walk around the house slowing rotating it in my hand for about 30 mins. Then I let is cure for another 48 hours to be sure its very hard. Love this stuff as I also use it to fix all kinds of things that you don't want to move or needs to be permanent.

Best glues on the market
Low or no oder, sets well, I stir for one minute on slow set glues and this does a great job. Best glues on the market. I'll be keeping this on hand since I do wood working most every day.

El producto dice que la mezcla que hay que hacer es de 50%de cada bote y que en 30minutos cataliza . A mi no me cataliza ni en 24horas ni en una semana tampoco

It repaired a broken ceramic bird bath with no problem. You get plenty of time to adjust the piece before it starts to cure, and once it has it's secure and hard as steel.
