Unpretentious Chocolate Sprinkles, Perfect for Festivities, Multi-Use Shaker Bottle, Dessert Decorating

I was hesitant to buy these on Amazon - I haven't always had the best experience with food stuffs like this in the past, either due to damage during shipping or the result of staleness - but this was the only place I could find these red and green sprinkles/jimmies for my holiday funfetti cookies. Shipping was fast and they came right on time. They shipped with another heavier item but they were protected by air fill pods. No damage whatsoever. Of course, the real test is flavor and quality. I've noticed that it's really hard to find genuinely tasty sprinkles, and not just through Amazon. The ones I get from the grocery store are often waxy and flavorless, and some taste off, like chemicals. Not these! I tried a few the second they arrived and they're great! Lightly sweet and the right balance of waxy/soft and slightly crisp, which is exactly what I want in a funfetti cookie. The expiration date was about a year and a half out, so no risk of them going stale anytime soon. My only complaint is that they were pretty pricey. I nearly knocked off a star for this but I suppose it's just supply and demand, seeing as I couldn't find them anywhere else and I was willing to pay.

Good texture, not too crunchy or chalky. They are a little waxy and can leave an oily film in your mouth if you sample them on their own. I prefer the waxy to the crunchy for a chocolate sprinkle. Good flavor, good value.

These sprinkles are pretty and taste good. However, the colors are not a bright as Wilton Sprinkles which is disappointing. They bake well and did not melt in the cookies I baked. They do look good sprinkled on butter cream frosting. I am just disappointed that the colors aren't as pretty and bright as Wilton's sprinkles are. No one will know, but me. They are still a very acceptable choice.

The appearance is good and look delicious, I used in cold drinks for topping, the texture is not hard easy to bite. For the price is okay. Keep is fresh area.
