Follow instructions
I used this item to protect the wood in the bed of my classic truck. After cleaning and sanding the wood the application of this NANO began. Easily applied with a paint brush,, following the directions on the can I applied 6 coats to all sides. Did I need to apply 6 coats,,, probably not,, I just wanted to. Why 6 ? That is when I had felt I had plenty of protection. But it may well have had protection enough before 6 coats. Looks beautiful and I am very happy. It has not been long enough to determine how well it stands up to environment and use but I feel confident.

Get the second coat on while first coat is damp.
Great stuff! Applied to our bare pine ranch table and benches. It goes a long way and the finish is nice, showing the wood grain and color, though slightly milky. You wouldn't know it if I didn't tell you. I light sanded the wood, vacuumed and wiped down with a wet tack cloth. The sealant goes on easily with a brush and a little goes a long way. Didn't use 1/2 gallon to cover a 120" x 40' table and two 108" x 16" benches, top, bottom and legs with two coats! It did require two people to get the second coat down (instructions said to apply second coat when first is damp), as in the Arizona heat, it was drying pretty fast. The ranch table is out on the covered patio and now I can wipe the dust off in minutes. I'm very please with this product.

Investment
A little more reddish orange than desired but it would be a great fence color. Tried on previous paint and wood with newly stripped off paint. Is shinier and lighter with the prior coat stripped off. Good coverage to last the wood.

The ultimate test-
I purchased this sealer for a landscaping project. Delivered quickly, well packaged and intact. I have multiple 8"x8"x12' northern yellow pine timbers that i stained with dark walnut. They are rough cut and I chose not to sand them.I allowed the stain to fully dry and preformed the entire operation in the garage out of the sun and elements. Two generous coats are important for this sealer. Also it must be above 50°, which lengthened the process due to Ohio's weather mood swings. In the pale, the product is a solid white tint and thin as water. Give her an enthusiastic shake before opening. I applied with a 3" standard brush. No other products used besides minwax stain. Must be clean fresh surface for appropriate adhesion. Sand old finishes off. Goes on white and is easy to see missed spots. Being rough cut timber, it took a little more product to fully saturate. On a smooth sanded surface a little goes quite a long way. I have a photo to show drying stages- fresh coat, about 15mins dry time, and after about 30mins.At 30mins apply your second coat, just as heavy as the first. It's easy to work with. A little messy- don't be shy with it, but it covers great.Drys totally matte, no gloss at all. Looks just like they did with only stain which is just what I wanted.I have a second photo showing our first rain with them on the ground. I waited about a day for sealer to dry before laying them down. The water beads on top which is an excellent sign. I'm hopeful to at least get a few years out of this product before needing refinished. Most important to note ... These beams are laid over gravel and sand with drainage tile underneath, however they still are on the ground, exposed to moisture and in direct sun. This is really the ultimate test for a product like this.If this sealer can survive being exposed all day everyday I don't think there is a project it cant handle.I will update in about a year with photos and hopefully a success story.

Very good product
This is a very easy-to-apply water based clear coat. The application tools are easily cleaned with soap and water. Good coverage, doesn't require a thick film for good protection.

So far so good
The first one got damaged in shipping. I was kind of frustrated because I needed it for the weekend. They also didn’t offer a replacement until I initiated it. The second one came. It went a long way and was easy to apply. I first used a hot dog roller on my redwood gate. I used clear. It didn’t seem to be too yellow as some have said. I applied one side in the direct sun and in about 95* weather with no issues. I purposely tried to apply it differently in some areas to see if I could get it mess up. No matter what I did I couldn’t duplicate any of the complaints. I did a second coat with the roller and a third coat with a weed sprayer that you pump up. Runs and everything dried clear and you couldn’t tell. Overall very happy and looks great. Hope it lasts and it will be an A+. I live in Ca and it’s in the sun.

DO NOT USE FOR FURNITURE
The media could not be loaded. I bought this product specifically for outdoor furniture I had made. More specifically, for an outdoor table and some other projects I’m working on. This product should not be used on furniture at all.The finish after curing for three days is a glossy semi gloss finish. It is tacky to the touch, It has rendered my furniture unusable until I seal it with another product that I know will work from Home Depot. If you plan on using this product for something like fences, I understand how it might work better. It seems to repel water pretty well when I test it, However, if I put anything on this table, it will leave marks because it does not cure solid. It stays tacky. For that reason, I also don’t know if I would use this on any other outdoor use cases because things like dust and dirt will accumulate on the sealant.Thankfully, I’ve only used this product on my table, And as an extra coat on some existing furniture and not my other projects. If you don’t care about dust or dirt accumulating on whatever you apply this to then sure go for it.However, I will be returning this product because it does not work as advertised, and there are other superior products out there…
