fixed my noise issue
I wish I had come across this earlier. I've been chasing electrical noise issues in my home studio for a while and someone recommended this. I bought two and they worked great! Nearly all the noise is gone now, my equipment is nice a quiet even at full volumes. Solid build and cable is perfect length for my setup.

A quality Furman power conditioner
Having a power conditioner is a must have when you are working with multiple audio devices. When using this, the power to your audio gear is evenly distributed with no fluctuations, which helps to reduce hum and helps to protect your gear.Pros:-This strip has a study, metal case which gives it the ability to resist most wear and tear, especially for live stage applications. In addition, you can switch from EMI (short range interference caused by high frequency emissions within the device itself), and RFI (longer wavelength interference from external sources), and general surge protection. It has a 15 foot power cord which virtually eliminates the need for extension cords. This unit's power cable can easily reach across a small to medium sized stage.Cons:-None that I can seeIf you switch from a a regular power strip to a power conditioner, you will notice a big difference in the quality of your sound and reduction in unwanted hum and frequencies. If you are a musician, a Furman Power Conditioner is a must have.

seems like a good investment for my full size vintage arcade cabinet
I recently took the plunge and invested in my first full-sized real arcade cabinet and although the company that built it for me (TNT Amusements in PA) built-in a line filter, the logic board in it is out of circulation and difficult to replace, so I felt that redundancy was the way to go, which led me to this product. I am not an electrician, so I went by the other reviews in deciding whether to purchase. The product is heavy. Clearly well-made. The cord is heavy gauge and very long. It seems to function as advertised and the peace of mind is almost palpable. If it works as advertised then it's worth the price to me, protecting a $4000 arcade cabinet from dirty power surges.

Excellent value
This is a well-built power strip with all of the great features mentioned in the product description. I purchased this to protect my office devices from currents coming through an old network of wiring. I started to see my machines turn off, reset, or become completely disabled. My devices seem to be running more predictably now.Pros:1. Solid build. Nothing looks cheap or weak.2. Heavier metal frame that sits flat on the floor.3. Very long cord.4. Good value, given that regular plastic power strips may be 1/3 the price and have none of the features of this product.I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Works as expected, but not perfect.
I got this surge protector mainly because I wanted a higher quality surge protector that has some kind of noise filtering for my tv, soundbar, 2 subwoofers, and dish network DVr. Overall I’m very happy with this purchase which came on time thanks to Amazon due to its price and performance. However it wasn’t quite as high quality as I expected. It does a great job for providing clean power to standard electronics like the Q90C tv and Q990C soundbar connected to it, but the plugs themselves do not grip the chords that tight. Also, on my unit, the plugs can get pressed in rather easily with light pressure. The metal isn’t that thick but overall still good. It comes with a 15 foot cable which I thought I wanted until I unwrapped it and realized how long that really is! Lol.Still good performance for the price and super reliable with the one exception of the actual outlets not being reinforced enough and the light grip on the plugs.

Very quiet power, very happy me
I bought the Furman SS-6B because of a noisy room in our house. I would connect my guitar amplifier and two pedal boards to my venerable 20+ year old Stanley power strip, and in that room the amp is noticeably noisier than in other parts of the house.I wanted a power strip that is capable of suppressing noise, partly to test if that particular room is a noise problem.Searching for a good power strip is not easy, especially here on Amazon, where the number of glowing reviews tend to obfuscate the truth about products.I bought the Furman on its reputation as a trusted music industry product, based on a number of reviews (here and elsewhere) from those who work in the music business.I've had the Furman for about a week, and I'm very happy with how quiet it is. In that problem room, with the amp on and pedals engaged, the guitar signal is so much less noisy now, it's amazing to hear. The Furman answers several questions I had about my rig, because I was doubting everything from amp tubes to pedal board power to connection quality to individual pedals in the chain. This power strip basically says there's nothing fundamentally wrong with my setup. It's a really good feeling taking my hand off the guitar and hearing so much less signal noise than before. It gives me a peace of mind I didn't expect. This will not be my last purchase of a Furman power strip. Full marks.
